Thanks x800, do you mind sharing the contact number? Probably I would go for the retrofit projector only but wonder if the headlight level still functioning? icon_question.gif

hey, i wanted to ask is anyone facing the problem that got sound on the door side and behind in your 408/408T?
*
I was told its a common prob in 408 by Geotauto, have it changed when I was due for 10k service - FOC since its under warranty otherwise just a knob or fist size item cost you RM 200 plus excluding labor rclxub.gif

What did u mean fiat size item? Coz I heard sound from doorssss and when the car in D mode without accelerate, I can hear "glut glut glut ..." sound..... Like something loose behind the trunk.
*
Then probably different issue, what I experienced was whenever I open or shut the door it has the "tok" kind of noise from the door hinge blush.gif

The tok sound actually is actually from air valve beneath the trunk ... Whenever u close the door, the inside air will flow out from the valve... This is one way valve, which mean air can flow out from cabin only
*
Are we talkin abt the same topic? Haha
I had prob with my driver door hinge which has been confirmed faulty and rectified, now its smooth operation

My rear suspension tends to make noises every time when passengers gettin on board or off.. Visited Geotauto, they couldn't diagnosed the prob and asked me to try not using the handbrake when parking to see if the noise still there? Just engaged the gear P
Any comments from 408 bro here?

I also facing noise from rear but its not the suspension..its rear brake. Its only happen if i pull hand brake first then put gear at p..
*
Nw I'm nt using the handbrake anymore, the noise just disappear.. Maybe it's true like u said, brake disc.. The technician said it may due to the clamping of the brake disc when handbrake is pulled smile.gif

Just a few hrs ago, tested and drove at 200km/h at a safe condition as in no other cars ard.. Totally empty road (to avoid flaming again), it can reach the speed easily but the noise gets so loud nt sure was it bcoz of the tarmac or what.. Definitely much stable vs my previous Jap made tongue.gif

People ask u how u know its safe???
Some kids may run into road, wildboar, cow..and maybe things fallen from sky will cause u skid...and maybe got this kamoung jncle suddenly come out from nowhere from the jungke and appear in frontof u driving at 80kph...and smoke u like the photo shown...

no need to tell him la, his car can drive up to 120kph only..
*
I certainly do not know what your intentions are and perhaps you're not aware of the details of the road condition, which I didn't describe clearly here as well hmm.gif
I'm not trying to boost too but to find out others opinion on the noise level like when traveling at high speed, besides second to the stability of my first conti smile.gif

Mine case it doesnt give any sign at all, l was just driving like few hours ago and it was perfectly fine unless you get the volt meter to monitor
