I faced that problem only after 3 weeks. They took a few days to replace it though... without warranty, it would have cost me RM8K++. But my symptom was not the knocking sound... it was loud wheezing sound...

The puchong SC. Actually when that happened, i was in malacca and the wheezing sound was really loud. the Customer service advised me not to drive and they towed my car to puchong.

very subjective. smaller cars and lots of highway will last like 200k kms, a higher performance model and lots of hill driving will last 50% or lesser mileage.

my best guess is something like 100k kms and get your $$$ ready.
