QUOTE(eddmecha @ Jan 31 2013, 02:28 AM) yeah goomanager did not actually flash twrp well at least for my case...so in the end i just flash thru mobile odin as twrp version 2.1 doesnt recognize my external sd maybe due to exfat or maybe its becoz of something else...after using goo to download and flash twrp fails me.but now am happy with twrp as nandroid backup is faster than cwm i dunno if its placebo effect First of all don't use mobile Odin More reliable is flash from recovery mode Definitely can recognize exfat format MO is getting buggy on 4.1.2 .Use it to flash rom n sometimes kernel flash it will freeze though it will successfully flash after restart. Noted these only on 4.1.2 only

QUOTE(off_shore @ Jan 31 2013, 03:41 AM) Lol.. I ran a test on n2 and appeared to be the same rank as u I checked the global ranks and I even saw more than 20000 scores for n2. Think they have overclocked it. You had never change since S2 days Don't be obsessed with benchmarks Get Nexus4 if you are so interested in such

QUOTE(toottut89 @ Jan 31 2013, 05:57 PM) guys, i've updated to 4.1.2 and rooted it after the update. if i wish to go back to 4.1.1 what's the most convenient way to do with with my root still intact. Use mobile Odin to flash the 4.1.1 rom n select keep ever root in one of the options

QUOTE(Superman7 @ Feb 1 2013, 10:17 AM) you bought the original battery? How much? In Oct last year I paid RM 139 for it. Purchased it from Samsung reseller AsiaMobile in Lowyat. I think should be cheaper now Anyway can say is a "waste of money" as I rarely need to use it. I only bring it along if I do not drive and take a bus south to JB or north to KL. Previously on such trips I will bring my Yoobao 11200 battery pack. Even with this extra battery along, most of time seldom used too. The Note 2 battery is just insanely great

QUOTE(Superman7 @ Feb 1 2013, 11:07 AM) Thanks for the info. Btw, are you still using JD? I have stop using JD, stop enabling power savings mode. Dont see much battery savings in it. Anyway the Note 2 default battery life is great and should meet most users needs unless one always gaming on it !!

Personally I dont see any obvious battery life differences between 4.1.1 and 4.1.2 So if you ask me, just go ahead and upgrade to 4.1.2 Do not let few users negative comments discourage you I have tested Msian original rom LL7 and than tested too custom roms ( Monx, Wannam, Hawkish, Romow ) and now on latest DMA5 by Monx

QUOTE(mydragoon @ Feb 2 2013, 10:10 AM) Just realized... * from gallery, no way to edit photos with s pen. When select edit, it's either using paper artist or photo editor which we need to download from Samsung apps. used to be able to open up an apps that uses s pen on note 1. * in note 2 or was it s3 promo video, I recall seeing a few friends watching video and photos shared from one phone. Just realized is not streaming but rather pushing the file (video or photo) to other phones. so misleading. I thought it was streaming. or did I use the wrong function? To edit from gallery, simply take a screenshot and edit it directly

This is to show again the excellent battery usage for past 2 days while phone is overnight : with 3G always on, wifi off, Google sync always on, facebook notifications active, yahoo and gmail mail downloads active The worst I have ever recorded is 3% over 9 hours
This is my present rom : Monx DMA5 with Perseus kernel 32 - all at its default settings and no tweaks ever made and no usage of any 3rd party battery savings app . Power savings mode is also turn off So I never see any need to charge phone overnight. I always charge it to 100% before I go to sleep
