Right, But then it would be troublesome to take in and take out the battery cover right?Hmm, how about getting a Powerbank Energizer..

Hey which one has more benefits?
TPU case or the silicon case.. I mean if lets say the phone fell on the floor, the one with the tpu or silicon will survive? The silicon seems soft, and less prone to scratches, but the tpu will never expand, hence maintaining its rigidity for years, on the other hand feels grippy too.. So which one is the superior one? |

I think the safest place is the library, the library is fully carpeted, so even if fall without casing, no problem at all..

QUOTE(eugene88 @ Feb 2 2013, 07:44 AM) How come my Note 2 like got dead spots on certain area of the screen where it is very hard to write on it with the S pen? I totally agree with you.. I noticed that from the far left of the edge its okay but as you write from left to right reaching the end of the right side of the edge, the accuracy of the pen decreases, and as you go nearer at the boundary of the screen I noticed thar I have to press the s pwn very hard in order to achieve the same ink consistency as the far left and the middle of the screen... For me I feel it is not particularly beautiful to export the memo I have created due to the fact that I can see different ink consistency towards the edge of the screen..Is it caused by the screen protector? |

I actually think back about the spen issue..
I guess it's due to the fact that the screen protector is made of plastic, so when light passes through the screen protector, some of it's light gets back scattered, and some enters. But refraction occurs, hence nowonder even when I put my spen at an exact 90 degree angle, the air view point is not in line with the position of the spen's tip.. Hmm, maybe removing the screen protector would be a good idea? |

Thanks I used better battery stats, and when I check the partial wakelocks, it is due to phone utilities, which can't be stopped right? or else the software cannot be used right? How to deal with this phone utilities issue? Thanks.

I tried to test the quad core by playing 2 you tube videos simultaneously with on at 720p and the othe at 1080p..
The result?? Both play smoothly although I checked the cpu monitor says that all the 4 cores are maxed out.. however I tried with some intense motion of another 1080p video it lagged badly.. I guess it depends on the intensity of the 1080p video.. but its still quite impressive.. I wonder whether 8 cores could do a better job.. Attached thumbnail(s) |

Okay here it is.. I pushed the limit of all the 4 cores.. my phone was burning hot..the indicator shows that all 4cores are running at full 100% capcity.. This is me playing 4 videos simultaneously. The first 2 video was at 720p resolution and the bottom 2 videos are ar 360p.. It did not lag.. maybe abit.. this is so amazing..

QUOTE(joytest @ Feb 2 2013, 05:11 PM) bro (? I suppose) thanks for the test results. pls do note that 8 cores is not 8 cores max active. you will only get 4 cores max at any one time. pls do not fall for marchitecture speak. Okay, You're right. It's basically 2 quad cores in the s4. When you are playing high demanding graphic games, then it will switch to the more powerful A15, but if normal low demanding graphics usage, only the lower A9 core would be used..Right, thanks, now I got this straight.. Ain't going to fall for this hype. But then, Samsung claimed that the octa core can save 70% of battery life as opposed to the A9 quad core Exynos.. |

So I research and I found out that the optimum way to charge the battery is to let it discharge to 15% then charge it back up, without letting it to drop all the way to 0%, then the phone shuts down and then only charge it. So, what it is trying to imply here is that don't switch off the phone, would be a more conservative method right in order to prolong the battery life and the phone's life?
