QUOTE(ktgohdt125 @ Feb 4 2013, 12:25 AM) me still learning!! this sunrise pic was taken on level 16 through a window actually.. u know y!! try to post urs & let people judge it, then we will learn from our mistake any one also can get more than 24hrs if u don't use it too heavy.. ( turn on wifi/gps/data when necessary but is feels like cheating ownself ) so for me batt statistic should be base on SOT not how many days it will last. for me I do concern on battery life on hrs instead of SOT as I don't like to carry around a charger when I am out of the house. All my data/wifi will auto switch off when the screen is off, there is no point enabling it when the screen is off as I don't use it, so why should I waste the battery juice whereas I can save it to prolong the battery life. Getting 4-5hrs within 2 days of battery life is more than enough for my kind of usage. Actually if one does not care to carry around a power bank to accommodate his/her usage style then go ahead. anyway it's his/her phone so just do to it whatever they like.

QUOTE(Reventon @ Feb 4 2013, 12:46 AM) Okay thanks ! Long time never flash official firmware. Ever root ticked then root will be preserved right? yup, you are right...that is the best way to preserve root. rather than flash using PC Odin then use CF Auto root, too many steps...Mobile Odin make it simple for you,

QUOTE(mrlol @ Feb 4 2013, 03:35 PM) hi all, got question.. my fren just lost his note2 and unfortunately he didnt register at samsungdive.com ... is there any possible way to track/trace/lock his phone? maybe by using serial number, etc? or i can actually suggest to him to forget his note2 and buy new one? lol thanks just forget about it... buy a new one. even though he did register with sambung dive, without data or wifi on he can't track his phone. if the thief is smart, he can flash the phone and wipe clean all the data and very hard to track the phone This post has been edited by tot31: Feb 4 2013, 03:42 PM

QUOTE(kevintth @ Feb 4 2013, 05:48 PM) generally, does android system drain battery? it comes second after screen lol.. .it almost took 20% of the battery away... see htc one x... android system only consume 3% of the battery I also check with my aunty's NOte 10.1... almost 5% like that... hahahha...although on my Note 2 the Android System is on the second but still beats HTC One X...

QUOTE(Superman7 @ Feb 4 2013, 06:42 PM) Are you sure you're not using DS Battery Saver?  Of course I am using it, like I said before, it is pointless for me to waste the data/wifi connection while my screen is off. Better to save it for my battery use... This post has been edited by tot31: Feb 4 2013, 06:46 PM

QUOTE(Reventon @ Feb 4 2013, 10:00 PM) Hi . So how this perform compare to juice defender ? Seems same concept. I never try JD so I can't comment, if you read through the xda forum, there are a few JD users were saying DSBS is better than JD...

QUOTE(sacremento @ Feb 4 2013, 11:27 PM) I did it using stweak. On the power tab. From there we can also disable the safety margin input which is the 108mA. Im assuming that is why we dont get 1800mA current_max. I was following an stweak guide from xda and got across this info. Edited : sry. It's 100mA. Step safety margin. I am getting 1800mA current_avg on stock charger and cable in fact with charger + Xperia S cale and Note 1 cable, I am getting 1800mA current_avg.

QUOTE(sacremento @ Feb 4 2013, 11:34 PM) Ah sry again. Got it jumbled up which is which. The current_now is fix at 1698mA? ignore the current_now and current_max, current_avg that the one should be aware of.

QUOTE(sacremento @ Feb 4 2013, 11:46 PM) Oh ok. So the stable current readout is at 1698mA with a safety margin of 100mA. Well my avg wont go beyond 1300mA. Cant test it yet bcoz I do not have other cable or charger. At default setting which is at 1800mA in stweak ill get lower current input. Lower than 1300mA. Weird. But I think the culprit could be the charger. even brotan's dual port 2.1A charger can gives me a constant 1800mA current_avg. This post has been edited by tot31: Feb 5 2013, 12:05 AM
