QUOTE(alexng2208 @ Jan 30 2013, 10:40 AM) i think i'll stick to Neak stock kernel is in the official firmware. if you are using Mobile Odin Pro, you can load the firmware and just choose the stock kernel only to flash.then wait for the new release and go back to stock kernel. pain to find where is the stock kernel now :S Btw, I have tried perseus kernel before and it did not give me any problem. brotan, thank you for the explanation... |

I am using a 16GB Sandisk class 10 and so far no issues yet. From what I could gather in xda forum is most Sandisk class 10 32GB and 64GB microsd cards are having problems.

QUOTE(kevintth @ Jan 30 2013, 04:17 PM) maybe is the game itself got problem? bro, read properly, he downloaded the SHORCUT for Task Killer not the app. In Note 2 we have to long press Menu button then click on Task Killer icon to get into the Task Killer app. The shortcut is cool but it annoys me with the pop up and I ended uninstall it.I don’t trust Android system can effectively clear the RAM for you. If yes, there wont be having so many RAM booster apps, manager, task killer, apps killer, task manager etc etc. btw, Note 2 itself has task killer, no need go play store install... |

QUOTE(antt00 @ Jan 30 2013, 04:34 PM) Some 3rd party launcher like nova and tsf shell can make a direct shortcut to the task manager. No need for the shortcut app. I have bought Nova but ended I uninstall it, the dev couldn't bother to make a simple random animation effects on the desktop. Tried TSF but don't really like it. ADW is the second best for me. Now I am using Next Launcher, the best so far for me. BTW I don't really use the Task Killer app so often, so long press the HOME button is that not much trouble. This post has been edited by tot31: Jan 30 2013, 04:46 PM |

QUOTE(sacremento @ Jan 30 2013, 05:53 PM) im not sure bout this. flashing via pc odin is straight forward actually. As far as I know flashing official firmware using PC Odin will not increase the flash counter. Basically DLL7 and Thai DMA5 on battery life more or less are the same...trust me. if u r already at 4.1.2 official, u could be having a new bootloader. flashing via odin might increase flash counter hence void warranty. i might be wrong. the best forumer to ask bout this is tot31 |

QUOTE(joytest @ Jan 30 2013, 06:36 PM) I just had a hand at one at a Digi roadshow. Nothing spectacular. The flyer is sending somewhat misleading messages: hahahha..and those ppl in that thread are so obsess with it.... It states SCREEN: 4.7" WXGA (1280x768) True HD IPS Plus. So, what is all that supposed to mean? WXGA is the accepted definition for 1280x768. So what does TrueHD have to do with that? I wonder if people will snap it up because of the term "HD" ? QUOTE(alexng2208 @ Jan 31 2013, 09:05 AM) goomanager doesn't really do anything... flashing stock ROM i usually use mobile odin. flashing recovery i use twrp (which looks less techy than cwm6.0.1.5.) then flashing ROM i use twrp! You should try Orange Backup. Don't need to reboot into recovery to make nandroid backup. only 5 mins. Compatible with CWM and TWRP.. the backup is indeed faster too!! thai is DMA5 right? |
