How about become a subsea worker? Either ROV or diving personnel?
Sat divers earn more than a thousand dollar US per day. Work for a month job place you in a 6 figure income group already.
Why become an engineer (especially you, office based engineer)? As when you come on board you are the cheapest labour there. 3,000 MYR a month? Oh man.
EDIT: Oh because you love engineering but not that keen to actually DO STUFF in the water (but you took subsea engineering WTF), how about get a CSWIP 3.4u ticket (4,XXX USD for the course and exams), and land yourself a 700-1,000 USD per day career.
With a month job pay, you can pay the argentum dei of an apartment in KL. Or buy a Ducati in CASH.
Oh you said sales line also make this kind of money? Of course but that's not SUBSEA.
Still better than your measly 3,000 MYR. PERIOD.
Subsea Engineer onboard of drilling rigs can earn usd 5 figures per month plus subsea premium plus foreign service premium plus one month off....
But yeah i met one guy during UWILD. He earned 20k during his degree time, doing part time as comercial diver.
