actually, the question is more like what kinda machines would u look out for before signing up ? I planned to work my whole body, 3 days/week (maybe more for cardio)

It depends on what muscle you want to work for that particular day. Lots of machine have its own target muscles like pec deck for the pec etc2.

Better yet, you find a well made routine and use that for your workout instead of creating one for your own. From that, you'll know what machine/free weight to use, the sets and reps, the rest period. All of that about a workout can almost being covered if you have a workout routine with you.

lol... I wanna work whole body.. I've read a lot la.. currently just work with a pair of dumbbells and pull up bar... now nearby my home got gym.. I guess I'll go find a plan then.. I do have a routine now but that's just for me with a pair of dumbbells and pull up bar... rclxms.gif
