ok for 8Mbps?

Anyone already on the 15Mbps trial?

I used to be one of the earliest users on 8Mbps but I wasn't getting any invite this time.

My connection is around 2KM to the nearest exchange.

Old high rise Unifi connections are actually run on copper as well and they support speed up to 100Mbps.

Maybe it is due to I stay nearer to the cabinet. My ADSL stats are pretty nice too.

Depends on your pathmode type. U can get lower ping if TM set it to FastPath.

They don't have much control on the configuration actually. Most of them don't even know how.

I'm curious about the SNR. Tried reading about it but some sources said it's good to have low SNR while others said it's better to have high SNR.
While I was using the previous modem which is TP-LINK TD-W8951ND, I get around 7-9 SNR. Though the ADSL would randomly disconnect.

Using my new ASUS DSL-N12U_C1, I'm getting the above SNR. Is it a good thing or bad?

What I mean is, the usual technician or installer do not have access to those configurations.

If not mistaken, pakji successful request TM to change his path mode from interleave to fastpath.

I tried and failed, technician don't know how to do it, they came to my house and blur.   

interleaved has level, higher level would get higher ping, lower level would get lower ping.

Interleave Depth defines the number of bits (or bytes) in each block of data, for example my diagram above shoes an example Interleaving depth of 4.
ADSL supports a various levels of interleaving, the depth of which can range from 0 (off) and from 1 to 64.
Steps I've seen are 1, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64 for the downstream and 1, 2, 4, 8 for the upstream.

hows your ping?

pretty bad for gamer.

Ive played BF4 with 300-400ms ping, get at top of the chart and called hacker. Usually my ping at 80-160ms, good enough to play any online game..

Try change ur DSL mode to G.Dmt or T1.413  . When i use ASDL2 mode interleaver depth : 36 , 1 and ping 40ms to local . After switch to G.Dmt interleaver depth > 2 , 1 ping 20ms to local .
