I have installed tm streamyx 8mbps in May. The SNR is 26 and line attenuation is 8, both are consider excellent. the connection is perfect in the morning and evening, but i facing DC problem every night from 9pm onward, check the SNR, it left only 10 and below. the SNR remains lower even after u reboot the modem, unless u reboot the modem on tomorrow morning, the SNR would back to 26.
Day 1,
I try to change the modem, same thing happen. Lastly, i decide to call 100.
Day 2,
Unexpected, TM provided the very good service, they able to send technician within 24 hours. First checking, technician check the port and cable, everything is good, so he just changed some setting in my modem, ask me to monitor it. Unfortunately, the problem is still happen, same situation.
Day 3,
i called that technician, he said will request to change the port for me, he promised that the job will done in the same day also. I received his call after few hours, the port had been changed and the SNR is higher than before.
Finally my problem solved. My internet never drop since the port changed, the SNR is now stable at 28, line attenuation is same. Thumb up for the best and fast services by TM technician.
