may i know the maximum upload speed of streamyx 8M now?
still struck at 384kbps or 512kbps? [too slow to upload anything to youtube or facebook]
can it reach 1Mbps or 1.5Mbps? [adsl max upload speed]

Anyone know how to bring down the SNR & Attenuation value?

This is connection using CAT6 cable.

The value shown does't change much compared using normal phone cable.

Connection incoming to Splitter (CAT6 cable) to Router (CAT6 cable)

Distant <1meter

cat6 network cable won't change anything.
u need to play round with ur telephone, telephone cable and splitter ; not the network cable..

hai
is streamyx automatically change ip address everyday?
or isit cause of my tenda d301 router?
everyday have to manual update my getflix ip to able playing US streaming service..

They do capable of changing your ip whenever they needed to.
formally, your ppp connection will be disconnected and re-connect again, modem will re-authentation the username and password, and then u will get a new ip.

BUT, sometimes, they just simply re-assign a new ip to u without disconnect you from their server.
it seem seamless change to them, but it cause more security issue.

Some applications and websites will detect this change, and assume u r crewing with them or ur system is compromised, so they limit or block your access to their system until futher identity comfirmation(through email, sms, ic copy, human face ..,blah...blah..blah..)

But the truth is, TM is screwing with us.. the ip change without discconect happen again a few days ago. devil.gif devil.gif devil.gif
i think it is very lucky to me, only pan.baidu.com was affected this time.
it only need to re-verify through email, not too hassle ...

Found this stuck to my gate earlier today....looks like TM is offering SDSL in my area. Anyone used SDSL before? (upload speed = download speed).

Are you sure it is SDSL ? i don't see any alibies from the picture... bangwall.gif
btw,if it were true, then this could be heaven or this could be hell. .

coz it look like UNIFI, sound like UNIFI, price tag like UNIFI,
but it is not necessary the same UNIFI we always talk about.
they are not on the same par ..
it is "screamyx inside".
especialy if u r given private ip(soon or later), then u r skrew to the hell like screamyx user.

Dont pull the trigger laugh.gif doh.gif Take 179 unifi more worth it haha dang

nod..
but, i think most of the screamxy users is waiting for the "free upgrade".. devil.gif
coz, no matter how much u paid, and how "loyalty" u r , they always launch a lower price "promo(for new user only)" to screw u.. drool.gif drool.gif
