Hi guys, I'm using 8Mbps package and suddenly 2 days ago my speed never go above 4Mbps.

This is my stats. Am I being capped or something?

Data rate is your answer -- capped at 4ish Mbps

Oh. Is that something on my part or their part? Max rate at 11Mbps means my modem is capable of getting more than the 4Mbps right?
A bit worried since I just changed to a new modem but speed was reaching 8Mbps just fine on the new modem before. Just suddenly become slow around 2 days ago.

I'd suggest try connecting your modem direct to phone socket(without going through splitter) or try changing the modem.. the capped rate is abit odd..

if that doesnt work try calling them TM..

Tried that and problem still there. I contacted them and they will be sending a technician soon.

Poor connection. Check your telephone connection and your ADSL splitter.

So the technicians just fixed the cable to my house.

I'm curious about the SNR. Tried reading about it but some sources said it's good to have low SNR while others said it's better to have high SNR.
While I was using the previous modem which is TP-LINK TD-W8951ND, I get around 7-9 SNR. Though the ADSL would randomly disconnect.

Using my new ASUS DSL-N12U_C1, I'm getting the above SNR. Is it a good thing or bad?
