Fyi, They are extensively upgrading the infra for subb on my area in fact when i drove back to home from work just now, a group of tm engineers are busy doing the underground work for new cabinet installation. But what shocked me, they just don't touch the existing cabinet at the front of my taman at all. So?

Hello guys, currently I'm subscribing streamyx 4mbps with RM140 per month and the 1 year contract already ended long time ago. I heard there is a promotion speed upgrade form 4 mbps to 8 mbps with the same price by renewing the contract to 2 years. Therefore, I went to TM point asked for it, the officer told me that my living area don't support 8mbps since the wire still using copper and the maximum speed for my living area only 4 mbps and there are still no fiber optic support. The officer also told me that if I really want to upgrade the speed to 8 mbps, she can do it for me via their system but the speed may not stable and I may easily get disconnect. My question is should I upgrade my internet speed to 8 mbps or stick with the old package? Here are my ADSL detail:

I don't think so. Depends on the street cabinet cabinet as well. My 8mbps was set to 10mbps port but still didn't manage to upgrade to unifi lite. For unifi lite vdsl, your port must be able to set to 13mbps for download and 6mbps upload. Only vdsl-able dslam (VB and VC coding cabinet) are able to set that limit.
