just like i thought, the preview seems like its going to be all action, and then filled 75% with talk that i cant give any sympathies at all. i can barely stand all the talks during the raid arc, but now...
i dont even get who/why they fight to begin with

naah not really...they r pretty much doing everything that in the novel...unlike SAO which jump into to the action...

btw, that NPC is just lvl 68? why is it so hard to fight her if Nyanta is lvl 92?

It's like you're lv 92 fighting a boss level 60+ in MMO.

Remember RO? And some mobs that is lower level than you was fking hard to deal with

Ahh yes, more likely a raid-type boss where you need a group of lvl 60s to fight it. Same/harder difficulties if solo with a lvl 92 Swashbuckler - Nyanta

I think not really that case. Nyanta can kill it but remember, thier group consider the NPC if living being, so he need to disable the npc without killing it.
When Nyanta want to kill Mifuza his old friend prevent him from killing the npc.

Look back at Odyssey Knights, any players who die will effect their sanity or just their memory? The knight who Tatsuya talk to still remember why he need to go back home.

i think the main reason why many people hate season 2 is because there's no battle where Shiroe and Akatsuki are both in it

that is not the main reason. the story is very at slow pace. too much talking. and the character movement jagged too much.

Try watch season 1 again and you get what I mean.

btw, ever wondered why the hell is the preview of LH is such a freakin major spoiler?

LH pretty much gave hints of what the main plot is along the way and shiroe only provides confirmation and add more information from his side or what he got.I think the pacing is slower because they are almost out of LN source, I dont like it if they suddenly insert non canon things in anime.

i noticed they even go to great length to explain certain things just to prolong the episode.
eg: the fight with the genius appraisal. they could have said it was a tough fight, but still decided to spent a few minutes on that.

they also explained a lot of things in season 1, but its not as boring as this. i wonder why?

all they add by now is webnovel material that come out a few weeks ago lol (aka the upcoming volume 10)

i guess its too late to drop this huh?
