Honestly, like someone mentioned earlier, it looks like a Pineapple cafe.
Theres plenty other ways to represent "tropicana". Rethink!
As for balance, imagine your logo on a balancing scale. Draw a line through the middle of your logo. Your pineapple will be on one side and your text on the other. Do you feel the pineapple would look heavier than the words? If yes, hence unbalance.
If you're adamant about using this logo, try arching the text around the logo. Instead of a long horizontal logo, make it radial, maybe with a frame around it. (erm.. think starbucks?)
And do, lose that yellow line underneath the words "TROPICANA"
It serves no purpose.
