Overall good try.
You might want to lose the gold outlining the yellow, as right now the focus looks more towards the pineapple then to the fonts. You could play more with colour schemes and maybe with more fonts and maybe give your fonts a little spacing between for some breathing space. Maybe you could tell us your concept and idea for your client before we further analyze it that way we have a better understanding. cheers. |

Thanks 4 ur opinion.
because there's lots of fruit stuff at their cafe, so i take pineapple as a logo. Pineapple represent one of element from fruit rojak. and the cafe its for mid-high level customer. This post has been edited by ardhawk: Mar 25 2006, 08:33 PM |

QUOTE(ardhawk @ Mar 25 2006, 07:58 PM) -can add a lil contrast to the logo by using more vibrant color , eg. fresh orange-try with different font type that brings out the tropical feel, times font are for oldies. -balance the logo jus a lil bit tweak from yr original then u can get a great logo edi This post has been edited by eddychstu: Mar 26 2006, 02:51 PM |

arrrggghhh!!!
the Pineapple!! the Pineapple!! take it away!!!!! those words in those fonts and in Black!!! take it away!!!!! take it away!!!!! I honestly hope that you didn't study graphic design. Try something simpler by modifying one of your alphabetical characters into a tropical object or fruit. |

Honestly, like someone mentioned earlier, it looks like a Pineapple cafe.
Theres plenty other ways to represent "tropicana". Rethink! As for balance, imagine your logo on a balancing scale. Draw a line through the middle of your logo. Your pineapple will be on one side and your text on the other. Do you feel the pineapple would look heavier than the words? If yes, hence unbalance. If you're adamant about using this logo, try arching the text around the logo. Instead of a long horizontal logo, make it radial, maybe with a frame around it. (erm.. think starbucks?) And do, lose that yellow line underneath the words "TROPICANA" It serves no purpose. This post has been edited by Chemical: Mar 30 2006, 04:38 PM |

yeah.. it look's like pinapple cafe rather than tropicana cafe..
take the pineapple away.. try put in coconut tree.. feel's a bit 'tropicana', i suppose.. tree huh.. don't put in cononut shell.. haha.. try it out and see.. but the font is quite ordinary.. but looks ok too.. simple but nice.. |
