2# Investor will get back their initial investment after 8 year for premier and 6 year for gold investment, investor will not get land title and only invest on behave of the company it selves.

3# Investment is fixed at 8% for the first 5 years, and depend type of investment and yield return upon maturity. Dividend will be pay on quarterly basis direct to bank account.

4# You can sell back to the company for withdrawal after 1 year but penalty will be charge.

5# By participating on this scheme, it is guaranteed 10% annual return with 8% guaranteed for the first five year with 100% capital refund at the end.

Grab chance to invest in scheme, women urged

KUALA LUMPUR: Women should be more actively involved in investment especially those with minimum risk, said Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Dr Ng Yen Yen.

“Women should be given a chance to have a better understanding of how to invest within their financial means,” Dr Ng said at the launch of the World First Oil Palm Grower Invest-ment Scheme for Women Pre-view at the Palace of Golden Horses here on Tuesday night.

Dr Ng, who is Wanita MCA chief, said the investment was offered at an affordable price with RM5,000 per plot with 23 years of annual dividends.

“An 8% rate of return is guaranteed for the first three years while returns for the remaining 20 years are to be based on the price of crude palm oil,” she said.

Empowering women: CHHB chairman Tan Sri Lee Kim Yew (left) presenting a letter of appointment to Women's Wealth Creation chairman Dr Stella K. Y. Chin (right) in front of Dr Ng (centre) at the launch of the scheme preview in Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday.
She urged women to take up the opportunity to invest in the scheme during this exclusive period for them.
She also said the men should buy the investment as a gift for their wives, daughters or mothers in conjunction with International Women’s Day today.

A press statement said there would be a return on capital outlay from net proceeds of sale of the oil palm estate at the end of the 23rd year.

For details, contact Mines Marketing Sdn Bhd at 03-89411888 or Women’s Wealth Creation (M) Sdn Bhd at 03-80683993.

adolph,

Do not fall into such schemes anymore, there's just too many out there and as some mentioned about CHGS, even if the company is backed up another large company or tycoon, it will still not be as good as it seems. For a measly return of 8%, it is just not worth to risk the money. There are many other ways you can invest safely and sleep well at night for the same amount of return. For me, I do not see it as a risk worth taking unless the return is over 20% pa.

Jordy,

Yes, i'm not applying these. But only want to question if there're some people who invest into this scheme. Because their investment, even the simple name, it weird for me and look like a fraud.

adolph,

By right, it is not a fraud, but this business is just not that profitable in such a short period of time. When you involve the public's money, you're always pressured to provide your shareholders quick return because the public investors expect more out of the scheme. So when that does not happen, the public investors would complain. The scheme's management company would have to fork out their own reserves to pay the dividends promised until they run out of reserves, so they would have to take drastic measures to amend their return policy.
