Actually, most of them are doing low-wage jobs that Malaysians do not want. A lot of them are probably doing Malaysians a favor by helping to keep the managerial jobs here. Without them in Malaysia, factories will shift to their home countries, and there goes the high-wage managerial jobs.This happened in Singapore before. People argued whether or not it was desirable to hire lots of low-wage foreigners, most of them Malaysians. But some pointed out without the cheap Malaysians, there wouldn't be Singaporean managers.
