lai lai ppl come and see who is right here. Totally ass seller, devil94. Wrongly accused me using the line for phone call when i din even do any phone call, and also the phone number is not even mine! LOL..

i dont mind actually, as i am being falsely accused, i am free to speak with full of emotion, i aint no emotionless peeps.

By the way, can i go to maxis service center to double confirm whether there is actually any phone call done using my sim? Already called them via corporate hotline but now i wanna double confirm. Because the sim is not registered under my name, so i cannot further check thru phone call. If everything is registered under my name then i dont have to go thru all this mess, dont know what kind of policy this seller is doing.

can try to walk in and ask, it will be more reliable.  for now is new subscriber of BROADBAND only will get the LTE for free i guess

I'm on one of this corporate plan user with unlimited data, and I went into KLCC Maxis Center for LTE activation, it was really a horrible experience!

Me : Hi, can I have my LTE activated? Or do I need to change a SIM card? I was told that a SIM card replacement could fix the issue with LTE, I might have been given the older SIM card.

A : Hi sir, are you using the Nokia Lumia 920 or HTC One XL?

Me : No, using Xperia Z and I'm sure it's compatible with your LTE network.

A : No sir, only the listed device is compatible with LTE, I have an Iphone 5 and I don't have LTE too.

Me : My understanding is Iphone 5 is not compatible with 2600mhz spectrum but Xperia Z does have support for 2600mhz spectrum.

A : Hold on a moment, (Walks away to get another person).

B : Hi sir, I believed that you are tied to a 2 yrs corporate plan with unlimited data access?

Me : Yes that's right.

B : For corporate plan, we do not have support for LTE yet.

Me : What? Isn't it the same? Anyway could I just have my SIM card replaced then?

B : Sure, but you'd have to go to the front to get another ticket and you'd need to wait at counter 20.

I do not know if I am misled by the information I gathered or the maxis staff are not equipped with sufficient product knowledge? Is it true that LTE is catered for consumers but not corporate plans? I walked off as I was in a rush and I did not have enough time for the SIM replacement

I have the same problem on one of my multisim.

Not tower issue because when I used other sim (other number) no issue.
Strange is on other sim I can get 8 - 10mbps, on that particular multisim, it get 1mbps and below and usually
around 500kbps.

Are they capping on specific simcard that exceed the quota?

This news is well-known already.  It does not tell me whether the installation work I had just observed yesterday was Maxis installing LTE or not.

Why do people keep linking well-known information to me?

My point is not whether Penang will have LTE (I already know that it will eventually).  It is whether what I saw yesterday was indeed the part of the installation work for Maxis LTE.  And I said I can't be sure.  People keep linking to me irrelevant information I already have access to.  English Reading Comprehension Fail.

Don't procrastinate , do it on the next working day.

If i were you, i would bring the E398 to Maxis KLCC to ask them why you cant log onto LTE.

If they say that ONLY Maxis Modem can use LTE currently, then just buy the Bundle modem for rm200.

Its not that you cant afford it , ie: having Legacy and Surfmore at one shot.

Later you might upgrade to N3 and Surfmore on N3 will be perfect.
