QUOTE(KenichiLee @ Jul 2 2013, 11:52 PM) I m not sure about big4. Mid tier hiring process is 1) HR filter candidates 2) proposed candidates to Principal/ Senior Manager to shortlist(make sure you look good in your submitted photo) 3) Called for 1st Interview for questionair and pre-interview... Questionair testing your IQ and EQ rather than technical. Interview test knowledge (AA should be basic understanding only. 4) Shortlist for 2nd interview and offer. Usually if you get the 2nd call. you are just left with the nego $$ part only Most will test your resolute by offering Rm100 lesser than asking price... haha... if you stand strong on not reducing.. kiss goodbye.. Rather than stand strong.. a different approach is asking what is the career path.. how fast is the promotion... the process and the increment rate... to show your "passion" |

i m not sure if i should ask this here.
since I m only a degree graduate, i intend to start ACCA part time this coming January. my degree exempted 9 fundamentals paper, so i still got 5 papers to go, intend to do 1 paper/semester. so estimate 2.5 years to 3 years to complete the 5 papers. what concern me now is that i am aware that ACCA membership requires 36 months of working experience before you can apply. and if i m not wrong, if you part time study while working in big 4 allows u to include them in your 36 months working experience. do this applies to those mid-tier firms also? and how bout those small firms? or do i need to work for another 36months after i complete all the 5 papers? appreciate if anyone can share some insights with me, cause i dont know anyone who know about this. http://www2.accaglobal.com/documents/appro...mployer_mh1.pdf and from this list, actually what is it for? those that need to get the 36months experience must work in this list? |
