Welcome K.Tan, good to have another new DH join in. I hope you enjoy DH as a class because it's got a lot of challenges and skills involved. Making a DPS DH is easy but the hard part is making a DH that's able to survive and have good DPS at the same time. It will be challenging and expensive but it is particularly satisfying. You don't have to worry about gears for now. Just play till you reach lvl60. That is where the chalenge is when you plan to play on higher MP. For now, just enjoy the game and lvl up.

Well, DH is all about DPS initially but with a lot of changes, now DH can tank too. The best is too be able to tank and do DPS at the same time. You can look at our profiles if you want. It's a rough idea.

I can vouche for that. Was running with MOBA mp10 uber and keyruns act 2.. It was a breeze with him perma locking ubers and KW's while we were hitting them. It was a walk in the park and they dropped dead like flies..

Personally, I like both. Manti for its super high damage output and Calamity for its endless disc/hatred regen and survivability. Also, yes, you can play 2 different skill set for both and take advantage of its strength. I enjoy playing both and it's good to have a change in playstyle once in a while. My current calamity is 1646.4 with marquise gem and 1220 without. Now thinking if i should get 13xx ones.. hehehe.. racun. I purchased 6 UNID cal's and rolled this one.

Hmmm... Never tested one but I suppose that additional 100 dps might not be significant. Still, would love to try it out to see for myself and yeah, prices for those are just crazily expensive. Way too expensive for now.

@lksing Don't worry, save the gold 1st. Who knows, 1.08 13xx dps Buriza will be the next big thing? hehehe

For Calamity user definitely a buff from elemental dmg %.

After barb, I will roll monk or wiz. Maybe monk so I can lower the cost

Get a Windforce, It's cheap and good for survivability.

New players must learn the hardship of earning stuff just like we did, help a bit with gear can. Money not hard to earn. FARM FARM FARM.

I will keep my DH as it is. If they do buff it and hopefully they will in future patches, I'll be back but for now, I'll be barbing.
