Tarcian here. IMO, UTAR degree is cheaper & u can financed by lower interest rate loan. Overseas top up programme (in UK) normally cost about RM 35,000. The interest rate of that loan is about 9 %.

About which degree is better?? Its the same since neither UTAR nor Overseas University tht link with TARC is FAMOUS !! Try to obtain a first class degree to differentiate u from the 2nd or 3rd class holder.

UTAR offer degree programme, TARC only offer advanced Diploma programme!! Thats distinguish between them!! If I need only to pay annual fee of RM3000 to obtain a degree in TARC, who will study in UTAR?? Notes that UTAR & TARC are under the same management!!

Years back b4 UTAR is established, some courses in TARC do offer Overseas University degree. (U just need to sit the exam in Malaysia by paying in tht foreign country currency.) Surrely, those not so famous University.

Most courses now,if u want to obtain a degree in TARC, u need to go overseas fto do a top up programme!! There is a loan with 9% interest rate to assist u provided u have reasonable good reasult.

If u worry that u can't obtain PTPTN loan to study in UTAR which I think is not difficult to obtain. Go for STPM or Matriks to enter into Local university which I think is the best option for u.

Anyway, whetner Advanced Diploma in TARC is difficult or not, is varies on individual!! I have never fail in my Advance Diploma till date & I m not a good student. Some students who is smart that study at last minute can score AAAAA
