hi guys, for those of you still want to remain un-root and having battery issue, try this:

1. Using home->running (go launcher feature).
2. You will find 3 apps (Mwarranty, FM, QQdoc) which is sticky there even u "sweep" them for many times.
3. So now you just simply holding in an app, and after that touch on either one of the 3 apps, choose info.
4. Then u will now be in the apps info setting page, in here, you Force Stop (M warranty, QQdoc) and Disable (FM Radio).
5. If you restarted your phone somehow, you may need to repeat the steps ahead.
6. For the disabled FM radio, you need to find back the FM radio and enable it back in order to use it again.
7. That's all, hope it help, it's working for me.

Thanks for the tips bro rclxms.gif

  • Y! Mail

  • LINE

  • LINE

  • Settings

  • Atci_service

  • Network Diagnose Tool

  • Contacts

  • Google Services

I don't know. I'm using Pimp My ROM and just tweak whatever I feels like inside tongue.gif

Anyway, I wonder why there's double apps shows up in the running list? hmm.gif

1. Root your device and install Root Explorer.
2. Use your phone until the phone switches itself off (battery empty)
3. Switch on once more to make sure battery really is 0% (it will then immediately switch off once more)
4. Now, keep switched off (!), plug in charger & leave in charging until 100%
5. When battery is full, switch the phone on, unplug & check if the batter immediately drops 1 or 2 %
6. If battery immediately drops, plug in charger once more (while running phone) & let it charge completely
7. Once charging to 100% is done, don't plug off your charger, open your root explorer, at the top just click mount R/O, then it will set as mounted as R/O.
8.Ok, now open the 'Data' folder.
9.In the 'Data' folder, keep scrolling at the bottom and you will find 'System' Folder.
10.Open the 'System' folder and find 'batterystats.bin'.
11.Now you have to delete the 'batterystats.bin'. How to delete it?
12.Tap the 'batterystats.bin' and it will show the file option, select 'delete'.
13.Once it done, quick the root explorer and use the phone as usual until it switches itself off (battery empty).
14.Please don't charge your phone if the battery are not completely empty.
15.Charge your phone while running phone as usual until it shows 100% battery.
16.make sure that during discharging,don't reboot your phone or the system will create a new batterystats.bin file or if already made, it will get corrupted and you will have to start again from first step
17.Done this in 4 or 5 cycle, i mean the step 15 until step 18.
18.Now enjoy the 'long life' Samsung Battery Life!!

Note: these methods are not permanent and your battery stats may again get messed up any day, then you should repeat the method from first step.

You may try this a few battery tips here.

Hi All.

I'm thinking bout buying this. and I have several question...

1) How many touch point supported? Did the touch response well?
2) What is the default launcher used? Can I use default ICS Launcher?
3) How's the GPU Preformane?
4) Dual Antenna? Means by both line were in stand by mode or need to switch?

I'm thinking bout buying it at Taipan Senawang, Beside Azhaar Maju mamak stall. Can someone post out the picture of phone with box and things inside the box?
*
1) 2 point touch screen. Screen is relativaly sensitive.
2) Default is Go Launcher. You can revert back to the stock launcher if you want, but I recommend Nova Launcher
3) The GPU performs slightly below the Adreno 205.
4) I havent tested the dual sim yet sweat.gif

flashtool and usb vcom driver is here:
http://www.sendspace.com/file/izj32g

as for steps...
later i update here.

EDIT:
before you do anything, remember that you do this at your own risk. I recommend you to do a backup of your current rom in case something happen like stuck in boot. to do a backup of your current rom, 1st you need to download MTKdroidtools here.

next you need to go to your phone under settings>developer options>enable usb debugging.
when you connect your phone to your pc the driver for android phone will most likely fail to install.
you need to manually install it. Here is how.

Press your windows button. right click on computer and click manage. on your left hand side choose device manager.
you will see the android phone with exclamation mark there. right click on it and choose update driver software.
then choose browse my computer for driver software. After that choose the option > let me pick from a list of device on my computer. Click show all devices. then Have disk. Browse to your mtkdroidtools there is a usb_driver folder inside. Choose the android_winusb.inf then click Android ADB Interface and choose next. There will be an update driver warning window. Just ignore it and click yes. Phew..

Ok next launch the mtkdroidtool via the MTKdroidTools.exe with your phone connected and click root.
[attachmentid=3269615]
look at your phone and click the restore button at the bottom right corner of your screen. Wait for it to do its thing and reconnect your phone. Then when it say it is necessary to keep rom click no.
[attachmentid=3269617]
When it asks to install supersu, busybox if you want your phone to remain unrooted then click no.

After that click on the root, backup, recovery tab. click on backup userdata and cache. then click backup. wait for it to finish. this takes about 10 mins to complete.
[attachmentid=3269619]

when it is finished it will ask weather you want to pack the backup or not. choose whatever you want. smile.gif
[attachmentid=3269626]
then click to prepare blocks for flash tool. navigate to your mtkdroidtools folder>backup>your backup just now and choose the files.md5. the tool will do some voodoo magic and place all the files that you need to flash your phone back into the folder !Files_to_FlashTool.
[attachmentid=3269627]
Click reboot and choose reboot.
Congratulations, you have successfully made a copy of your rom.

This is really long and we're only halfway done. How?

In regards to the DiGi simcard warranty issue..

If yours has the sim card, leave it for the first 3 months, for the one-to-one replacement.

but if yours doesnt have it, then no worries.
