Why frustrated? I think the display is just perfect. Games look nice, reading is vivid, it kicks the ipad mini's display out and it works fine under the sun too..yes, its 1280 x 800 only, but that's really fair enough for a good display..

Do keep in mind, display is the highest consumer in your device and higher resolution will just resort in quicker battery drain

Only reason i picked note 8 over nexus 7v2 is because of the phone feature. This allows you to receive whatsapp, sms, etc.

i asked the senheng in my place, they told me the stock already reached in their local logistic here, but head office does not allow them to take it out until next mon... they set the launching date on next mon..

nope..N7C (3g) does not allow whatsapp..the sms validation does not take place in the first place..

Yep, got it locally..The screen of the note 8 is way nicer than the fonepad bro..Price itself speaks..The RRP in Malaysia will be RM1699 but you can definitely negotiate with some shops to get at least Rm1600 by next week..This device wins over fonepad hands down..Performance, display, everything..Fonepad only wins over the hardware build because of its metallic back..
I went to lowyat yesterday..The whole lowyat and no one was carrying it yet..Even Samsung shops said that they will only receive it next week..At the moment, Malaysia is only getting the white model..Black will only follow in the next batch..

Oh, and there is no LTE..only 3G and WiFi..

wan to test it first. and senheng sell it 1649 with extra one yr warranty. maybe slightly expensive than other but still in my place more or less this price. and can use cc point to redeem cash when buy. so not tat bad lo.

The Senheng shop at kl still not selling .. zzz just now called them
