QUOTE(shevakai @ Jan 28 2013, 07:44 PM) Hi guys.. im back! haha...any new poison yet? my forte got repaired already.. wahh. good to hear that shevakai. Thanks to SC Sri Kembangan.. It takes about 2 hours to settle it. They check whats the problem is and they found my forte ECU got damaged already after 1 week+.. they said this is the 1st time they saw like this. The ECU sudah shock already la i think.. cannot send signal to another part.. they said this ECU cost almost RM4k..wow.. they take a new ECU from another new car to replaced mine as they said I need to wait another day because need to wait for the stock ECU to come. So they will replaced back the ECU to the new car when the stock arrived. Now my FC better.. last time 22L/100km when my car rosak.. dem!! haha.. Special thanks to Edwin Aka motorman for helping me to get SC Sri Kembangan Manager, Simon to help me.. Boss turun padang check my car Will go this SC till i change new car Good SA! thanks again Edwin and Simon! just to share with all, our forte ECU board is made by continental. and i think... the microchip of the ECU board was made by my company |

QUOTE(maru @ Feb 3 2013, 12:15 AM) QUOTE(g88 @ Feb 3 2013, 01:05 AM) no duplicate as your smart key is UNIQUE...you have to change the entire module, and Korean will re-generate a new series number in their system...with new set of key...was told its like Rm1200 or something... Smart key cant be duplicate. If kaput then can buy new one. No need pair. Cost about rm400+.But if lost i suggest u to get a new pair coz u dont know if someone might have ur lost key. As explain by g88, for new pair kia will reset ur series number etc. Asked my SA, cost about that range oso 1k-1.5k |

QUOTE(kailord @ Feb 4 2013, 10:04 AM) You might get better answers here bro: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1815579 People say new cars are like that. But last time mine the highest was 10L/100KM. What kind of traffic are you driving through most of the time? City? Highway? It'd really help if you can give further details on your driving conditions. Forte is not a really full city car. If 100% city driving with a lot of traffic lights, traffic jams, then your consumption might be as high. Although those are Area Beyond Control. What you can control is your driving style. Here are some tips taken from Mitsubishi Mirage campaign. EP1: Not related much to saving fuel. EP2: http://youtu.be/DNCoxaF0mRw EP3: http://youtu.be/Mmy_No_Q-ms |

They no need to reset the unique security serial number (program back the coding etc). coz sure no one having your other key. omg....1-1.5k ? I seldom use the button on smart key to unlock car. always use button on door handle. It is a smart key leh. sure mahal one. deswai need to jaga the key properly. |

QUOTE(maru @ Feb 4 2013, 03:34 PM) talk is cheap and lies are expensive mister duplicated key sure can use to open the door. cucuk inside the key hole and pusing to unlock. as long as it have the same pattern/shape. But... u kenot start your car using push start button because your car didn't detect the chip inside smart key. its a standard nowadays. even saga blm using the same method. |

QUOTE(izputra @ Feb 4 2013, 05:10 PM) If my memory still serves me well, if we lost the smartkey (1 or both smartkey), there's no need to change the entire alarm module. The alarm module can be paired to only 2 smartkeys at the same time (imagine we paired the bluetooth device). So let say we lost 1 key..the SC just reset the current smartkey pairings & then re-paired back both the spare smartkey & the new smartkey to the alarm module (in the car). By doing it this way, only the spare smartkey & the new smartkey can be use with the car. The lost smartkey cannot be used anymore to lock/unlock our car (in case we found back the original smartkey later on) because only 2 smartkeys can be paired to the alarm module at the same time The exact price for the new smartkey? I dont know QUOTE(Buydirect @ Feb 4 2013, 06:33 PM) there u go..better explanation so, how much will it cost Mr. KS Loh? |

I pump carltex. Full tank on weekend cos can get 5% cash rebate using amex.
I heard from senior2 OnG engineer carltex is the best petrol in malaysia in term of quality. But not very sure the fact. Sometimes isi petron for long distance travel. Can feel bit different. People say they use good additive. Maybe cos they still new and its part of the marketing strategy. But of course maybe it just my feelings. No study to support my argument tho |
