don't be too rush buying rims sukan.. go survey2 more 1st and see around varieties until you like the most.. most important is trade in price and buy new with reasonable price.. about lock nuts, anything also can except those made in China imitation costs RM50 below..

2.0 have to spend more on roadtax.. if you like more torque for often overtaking in city and highway traffic, and you think you will use cruise control most of the time on highway then just take 2.0..

on the other hand, 1.6SX already generously equipped for all your needs in city driving, if you don't mind knowing that it has lesser airbags.. keep in mind that 1.6SX acceleration kinda sluggish esp on uphill compare with ie: Vios which has much smaller rims and body size, lighter body weight.. thus when you decided to buy Forte 1.6SX, never compare its FC with B-segment cars..

if lowest FC sedan in town driving is what you would expect, then pick the Vios.. I owned it before I can say that FC for 100% hell jam in Cheras and Federal H/way RM50 Ron95 mileage is 330km and my current Forte 2.0 only gives me 260km

betul I changed rim sukan there.. they are all selling replicas.. my set of rim sukan also around that price before trade in stock rim..

you know what I felt when I taken Forte 2.0 instead of Forte Koup after 3 months.. I regretted
my initial 1st choice was Mazda 3, 2nd choice was Forte Koup, 3rd Honda CR-Z, 4th Kia Sportage..

ended up Forte 2.0 because Sedan and Koup has the same engine and power output, also features of the interior (difference is only speaker mood lighting, no reverse camera ?)
and its about 20k price difference for brand new..

somehow for now I am already much regretted which I had decided on the lower price factor over the style factor..
everytime the koup passes by me,.. it kills me
so, take your time to think whether you're still going for that koup or normal Forte sedan..

replica.. which means "cetak rompak" by others to make it 97-99% identical to the very original production..
others means maybe Made in Taiwan.. or Made in China..
obviously avoid the ones Made in China because of their suspicious material used
and non-stringent QC construction method..

nowadays Made in Taiwan rims are OK, a step up quality from the stock factory installed rims..
somehow I felt more from the road's underneath undulation from the new Taiwan made rims, in other words
could feel the road more feedback from the underneath interior cabin and ride is more "thick" pleasantly solid
and ride is not crashy.. more silent compared with stock rims which has "railway train noise" intermittently
when rolling on old tarmac surface.. (difference noticable when crossing before and after Border of KL and S'gor arch
on federal highway.. not so much after tukar rim sukan)
saves 5% fuel also on highway.. a lil bit lighter steering at low speed maneuvering..

from what I understand, no one ever complaint by installed Made in Taiwan rims in the end
gives numbers of problems to the car chassis and tires.. unless you crashes on a big potholes or any big objects at high speed..
even the best rim sukan Made in Japan or Germany also will bengkok if you accidentally doing that..

some of our friends here said that using same specification from factory 215/45/R17 regardless stock rim sukan or other types of
rims sukan or whatever tayar brand, warranty still valid for absorber / suspension / chassis related to drivetrain system..

if they saw your wheels changed to others than the 215/45/R17 warranty void serta merta.. (that's what my SA in Puchong SC
told me when I was trying to clarify on sport rims matter)

to be honest Honda CR-Z is an overall better car to drive in terms of overall ergonomics, quality built and handling.. just that the smaller size will make other ppl impression of "aiya that felle driving small car jek.."

Forte Koup has aggressive styling and sport car look but sadly engine is just a normal N/A 2.0 even Sportage has DCVVT 166hp vs Forte Koup 2.0 CVVT 156hp which ada gaya tapi tak laju.. thus I thought of save the 20k for smth else and get Forte 2.0 sedan which basically everything the same except numbers of doors except Koup is CBU from Korea..

damn buying car is only once in every 5-7 yrs.. regretted gila babi when seeing Forte Koup park at shopping mall car park with stylish and lots of substance look.. I felt that for my age I should've bought a 2 door car coupe (except satria neo) because I rarely fetch more than 2 person for 8 yrs of driving and I've changed 4 cars before all also with 4 doors.. but why am I buying the same 4 door again which all of my family members got their own ride also got an MPV which seldom use.. ? haiz regret regret regret..

by then when I'm switching for a next car years later I think I might be too old for 2 door coupe already.. sad..

Forte actually is more quiet than my previous Dugong Vios and Swift and alot alot alot alot quieter than Waja.. touchwood no rattling sound etc until the last day I will sell my Forte few yrs later..

Forte 1.6 power to weight ratio not that good compare to Civic.. Altis 1.8E I often get 9.5liter/100km steady.. yours 9L/100km wokay mah..

I personally think bhp makan minyak slightlyyyy more than Petronas and Caltex.. you pump in Caltex got "klak klak klak" engine sound when morning startup.. ?

PS: if u liking Forte jgn malu2 and kasi konpius orang mah.. XX ask are you ready for XX.. ?? ppl really shout NO.. RTM news edited video become YES pulak.. mem-per-siah-sui-kan..

I will say BHP delivers stronger torque in low range rpm that's why I suka2 pijak lor.. oooppss..

Elantra 1.6 HS is about 98k right ? why go for 1.6 engine where such price can get Forte 2.0 ?
Driven only Elantra 1.8 for a day, torque not as strong as Forte 2.0 to play around especially Elantra's acceleration
has laggy feel to it after making U-turns under the flyover.. gear change seemed to be sluggish than Forte 1.6 and 2.0 too.. bodyroll abit
bouncy and soft side.. handling and steering response is same as Forte 2.0 but it seemed Forte 2.0 got more effortless / lighter
steering.. in the end I didn't feel impressed because the driving experience is just like typical normal sedan. No special characteristic except
its outlook design..
but then I am not sure about comparison between Elantra 1.6 and Forte 1.6..

You can consider it if you can spend 98k for Elantra just because of its special looks but don't care about limited max torque and hp and engine cc. Pls test drive it
and also at least 4 different cars and brand first.. don't buy anything without test driving

My personal opinion is Forte 1.6SX is just good enough for most people expectation, reasonable price, up-to-date features (except Forte using CVVT and Elantra using D-CVVT engine)
The money is yours, calculate and forecast yourself on the money you gonna spend now and then for your car to maintain.. ask yourself which car gave
you the best / most enjoyable feeling that you've selected and test driven.. sometimes our words could be difficult to convey the message of whatever suits you..
Best way that you keep test driving every cars of other brands to furnish yourself what's the current trend of automotive driving dynamics and technology..
No need to scared to yell inside any car showrooms "I WANT TO TEST DRIVE" because they won't kill the walk-in customers and it's FREE of charge to test drive..
They are more than happy to let you test drive because they need more consumers to experience their updated products. Automotive world nowadays have stiff competition
with each other and everyone is making good products (except Proton and Perodua).. try them.. !!
