QUOTE(diadokmai @ Feb 2 2013, 08:19 PM) I dont think it void the warranty cos they just attached a rca cable to the stock HU socket and install wiring all the way to rear bonnet. The HU already come with this feature as mention in the manual. No wire cutting if the installer know how to do it.This post has been edited by swk_sam: Feb 2 2013, 08:28 PM |

QUOTE(DelanieK @ Feb 3 2013, 11:27 AM) Anyone here change tint or apply the 2nd layer for cfe? Drive along NKVE yesterday under the hot sun n I found the heat rejection of ecotint is poor, both side mirror n front windscreen I feel this eco tint is impressive in heat rejection. It is much more faster cooling than my old car which i install 4mil security tint last time. But the windscreen normal tint is really sucks, I am planning to install 75% heat rejection for wind screen in this week. Most probably the heat is from front. U can try just install better heat rejection tint for windscreen first. If u feel the same then only add a layer later on. Just to save money heheQUOTE(gkl83 @ Feb 3 2013, 02:08 PM) LolQUOTE(dy246 @ Feb 3 2013, 03:08 PM) Any of you guys here know a reputable place to install a reverse camera on the preve? I dont know any reputable shops around Subang/KL which sells CCD, all I asked only have CMOS. mine done in pandan indah |

I am going 2nd tank for preve. First tank only can go 293. 2nd tank now half tank left and just go 145km only. Is it the fc will get better in high mileage? Kind of scary fc. Sigh...

QUOTE(Darkcloudz @ Feb 3 2013, 07:40 PM) If RM0.50, then your car can pump RM146.50 for full tank already wor. It is RM0.27/km from my calculation.QUOTE(diadokmai @ Feb 3 2013, 08:14 PM) Wow..why too high fc...last time i fill up my cfe preve full tank can go from changlun till kl..still got 1 bar left which stated on the odometer 105km left. That time my mileage is 6k. Normal travel stuck in traffic in KL. First tank is from SA just manage to go 293km, i pump 2nd tank for RM80 and now left 3 bar but haven clock 200km yet. I read alot review that fc will get better after higher mileage. Just wan some clarification is it true. FC reading now is 14l/100km. Hope fc will get better after ecu remap on Tuesday.do u always travel in heavy traffic? Or u a heavy footer type...i travel at 120-140km/h. |

QUOTE(allenultra @ Feb 3 2013, 10:01 PM) That's very bad in FC, what fuel you are using now? What grade of engine oil you are using? !st tank i dunno what SA pump, 2nd tank i am using shell. I have no idea what engine oil from proton also. For your case, u should be recording something near 400km for around 40litre fuel. I'm recording around 330km with 40litre of fuel, average 22km/h, full city driving. |

QUOTE(allenultra @ Feb 3 2013, 10:32 PM) I have the best FC with BHP fuel. Good power and FC. By the way thanks for your sharing =D. I cant switch to BHP cos my company only allow shell =D. I will go for Semi oil on first service then. Somehow a friend of mine mentioned that Shell does give good FC on highway, no power though in town driving... Preve is recommended to use 10w30 APL SM grade engine oil, you shall go for first service soon, right? Aim for 5w30, 10w30 or 10w40 grade of engine oil. Be it semi or fully synthetic. I will avoid Petronas Syntium 1000 fully synthetic (15w50) at all cost. |

QUOTE(ash229 @ Feb 6 2013, 12:14 PM) hye guys.. 2. Sluggish because of the ecu/tcu. Request for remap when u go for service. After that we will see your post saying. "WOW, pickup is superb! Smooth! Etc now I am a happy new owner of preve.. so far im pleased with my new ride (superb handling, cool features etc) except (1) glove box has to pull the lever before closing (always the small things eh) (2) sluggish response from complete stop.. but yea you gotta love this car guys! PS: I can't register with prevoc as no email confirmation comes in.. I wonder why... I just remap and can feel the difference significantly. Update from my FC:
1st tank -> RM80 after 293km 2nd tank -> RM70 after 260km After first service and change to Semi oil 10w/40 + Reflash TCU/ECU 3rd tank -> still got 6bar but already clocked 120km. Conclusion is Preve must be using semi or fully syn oil as arthur mention! My FC reduce a lot! I also read some where that preve FC will get better when mileage is higher until u clock 10k km. After that is Preve actual FC. Just some sharing for member who got question Preve about FC. This post has been edited by swk_sam: Feb 6 2013, 07:56 PM |

QUOTE(tanjq87 @ Feb 7 2013, 11:37 AM) Woo woo woo sound is when i slow down without pressing brake. I believed that is CVT sound. Set appt first because they need to order if no stock. No need to wait 1k service. I service my car at 500+ becos door behind cannot open from inside and request to fix helicopter sound braking plus remap ecu/tcu. But disc rotor need to order, so haven fix mine yet. Probably after cnyDuk Duk duk (helicopter sound) when I press brake at higher speed, so that's not safe? I can go SC before 1000km? not even 100km yet lol. |
