Bought a Pineng 960 powerbank recently, found that the digital display (power status %) is no where near the accuracy that they mention in their product page.

Few days back i was charging my iphone and the power bank display was showing 17%, then it went straight to 0%.

Then i gave it a full charge and test again yesterday night, charge my ipad and the power bank went from 32% to 0%.

So I'm guessing its either the power status reporting is not accurate or the battery are not holding power properly.

I'm using APC power bank. This company specializes in UPS for small PC upto main frames. Reputable American brand. It's 5000 mAh with two choise of charging voltage. Bout it for less than RM 100.

Its also selling in Lazada.

It has a 2.1A output? Will it charge the iPhone 6s plus faster than those normal power bank?

Just a reminder
Some airports, doesn't allow the use of powerbanks higher than 20000mAH
They will confiscate any powerbanks higher than 20000mAH

For example: Suvarnabhumi Bangkok airport

When did you go there?
I just came back from Bangkok last week, they won't check your powerbank when you arrive at the airport, it's when you're leaving Suvarnabhumi Bangkok airport is where they will check your powerbanks

Also, any powerbank that you bring must clearly state the mAH capacity as they will also confiscate any powerbank that doesn't state the capacity
