I see many people recommend xiaomi powerbank but my experience with them is poor. It's better for you to get a well known brand power bank even though it is expensive.

Xiaomi Power Bank having problems? hmm.gif

Now this is virtually unheard of, as it's one of the best I've used thus far and working well, since I bought it earlier this year! thumbup.gif

Might as well buy the MI Power Bank from your local computer shop instead? And what do you mean by "stuck at verification code"? hmm.gif

I don't know where to find MI power bank at penang.

Create an account at MI website by using mobile no as account, but they didn't send me SMS verification code to complete the registration. Somehow the 16000mah don't have stock as stated on their website.

Luckily found this thread.

Already paid, waiting for the postage :icon_rolleyes.gif:

Good on you, bro! rclxms.gif

And aren't there any big IT malls in Penang, a la Digital Mall or Low Yat Plaza? I remember Prangin Mall Komtar has many such shops selling IT gadgets and accessories, when I was there quite a while back! hmm.gif

I bought 2 Xiaomi powerbank from their online site n hate to say is one of the worst powerbanks I had used. I suspect their battery power is over declared
Battery drain is way much faster than my others
I had compared it with my other yoobao, limeade, and pineng

Seems like hit and miss for xiaomi powerbank. Some say very good, some say not good at all. Though the pricing is very attractive

Only good - it is cheap. Anyway you pay for what it is worth. I only used it rarely these days
