QUOTE(phhweittt @ Oct 22 2014, 01:14 AM) just tried using Charger Doctor to test all the output of the power bank I owned. In terms of output. 1. Romoss - Sailing series (China) - As per claimed. 2. Johoyo (Malaysia) - Slightly lesser than claimed. +/- 10% 3. Yoobao (China) - Slightly lesser than claimed. +/- 10% 4. Feelook (Korea) - 50% higher than claimed. Still got few haven't test - MiPow, Xiaomi, InnoStar, Perfume Power Bank. Will update again once tested. Not sure if this is the right indicator.. My favourite still Romoss sailing series, simple design, MiPow, simple and elegant and Feelook, simple and nice features - with infra red pointer and torch |

I'm currently using a Lithium Labs 15,000 mAh powerbank. It charges my iPhone 5 fully about 4 times. And takes about 12 hours to charge the powerbank to full. I'm very satisfied with it. 2 USB ports with an LED flashlight built-in (which is unnecessary).
I'm not sure about the brand, seems to be a Malaysian brand with very little sources. My friend brought one from Malaysia and left it behind here with me when he went back. Was gonna buy an Anker off Amazon but now I have a free powerbank. https://www.facebook.com/lithiumlabsmalaysia This post has been edited by latias93: Oct 22 2014, 12:39 PM |

I'm very satisfied with it. 2 USB ports with an LED flashlight built-in (which is unnecessary). A 15000mah powerbank should be able to charge an iphone 5 around 6 times (based on 65% efficiency). Also the powerbank input is only 5V 1A but it can recharge the powerbank full for 12 hours only? I think the powerbank u have is not really at 15000mah capacity, but i guess it was a free powerbank so no complains on that I'm not sure about the brand, seems to be a Malaysian brand with very little sources. The Facebook page was all I could find on this company, and I'm usually very dubious of 'unheard' products. I'll use this one until it rosak and then get an Anker or Yoobao. |

QUOTE(latias93 @ Oct 22 2014, 09:05 PM) Thanks bro. Any recommended models for me? Something that can charge iPhone 3-5 times should be enough. I'm using the 2600mAh cos wanted to test the brand only before we decide to sell or not. So far so good. If you wanted to buy, i would suggest buying those higher than 7800mAh cos the input is 2.1A. You get faster charging on the power bank itself. Some brands, even with output more than 10K, the input is still 1A only. |

Thanks for your suggestion. 2.1A input is definitely a must because I need to have the powerbank fully charged in between uses. I will keep that in mind the next time I need to buy a new powerbank. |

QUOTE(koba76 @ Nov 5 2014, 01:35 AM) both got pros and conslithium ion is cheap and safer but heavy lithium polymer is more expensive but lightweight, however if the circuit board is poor quality, it will affect the battery performance (easily overheat) |
