it doesn't matter which speed you have. I have 10mbps and the quality is still crappy. So, it's actually the source of transmitting and nothing related to your internet speed.

In fact the so called full HD on the Astro B.yond is only 1080i and not 1080p.

but the 1080i gets converted to 1080p by the TV, no?

I don't think so.
The Astro decoder is only capable of 1080i and therefore even if there is an upconversion to 1080p by your TV, the quality will also be slightly different.
I think you will be able to observe the difference when you actually play a 1080p video and do a comparison with the 1080i video from your Astro.

At least I observed slight degraded quality on Astro HD with my 55-inch TV.

@arslow Cause i just bought note 2 from maxis with the plan. Scare after rooting only found some imperfection or anything wrg with the hardware. After week and week of using it, i think it's time for me to proceed to the rooting world! hehe

If you guys have watched any blu ray movies before then Astro Byond HD is crap...

haha well I have just Astro SuperSports only

and still got the PVR
totally crap at all

I display astro beyond on projector TV more worse. the HD dont look HD
