nvm. decided to just connect to KIES on my notebook.showed the country code. ok, confirmed mine is South Africa set - XFA.
dunno if its cable or phone or my windows 7... every now and then when i connect phone to USB port, it does not detect properly. says drivers failed to install... or device could not start... weird.
