ok i list down all the problems encounter by nexus 4 so far

1. yellow screen. both of yellow tint or some because due to uncure lcd glue thingy (fix for yellow tint, trickster mod  and N4 display control)

2. upside down menu found in all across the phone, due to accelerometer problem

3. cracked back glass

4. battery drain out fast

5. light bleed

6. cant receive file from other device (bluetooth)
what else? now the list really worrying. lucky i dont buy this phone. i suggest this kind of problem to be publish at the front, together with workaround or solutions for it.

Jesus. Found that my Nexus 4 is bugged, cant receive file from my friend note2 after paired with it.

Ps. I mean the Blueteeth.

the case is slim and sturdy
but it feels more angular then the soft smooth curved edge
if only i can find a shatter proof SP for the back... i will use it naked.  

hahaha.... i hope something like a shatter proof kinda like SP for SONY phone will be made available
im not using any SP... i hate SP tat does not cover edge to edge.... so far none in the market so wont be using one
if anything, i only want SP for the back
it is fit tight....as tight as the one on GNex cos i used Ringke Slim for my old Gnex too
yeah, now its only around RM50 buicks, but without SP
quality assured and only about 20bucks more than Nillkin

Anyone tried Mako kernel with stock rom?how was the battery life?

they have restocked some of the bumpers. you can call them and ask whether it is rev 1 or 2. do ask whether they'll provide warranty. if still rev 1, then i'd say not worth it for 89 and without warranty. the peeling issue is for real. there is a long xda thread for it. better get from shirogawa or other seeler rev 2 with warranty from usa.

latest news from xda is rev 3 is coming. i ordered rev 2 from racerx.

maybe the yellow black one i'll purchase it in a few months time. i dont mind though, 3 years warranty.

When fully charge is the battery still suppose to show the lightning symbol?

hmm. thats weird. mine is slow as hell. but there is no problem in speed when using other devices. only this phone is slow. based on this thread nexus 4 wifi very slow , there are others with problem same as mine.

But it shows 100%. Should I wait longer before unplug?

i didn't get chance to test wifi at public area yet. maybe later this evening. may i ask what router u are using? i'm using TM innacom. maybe its related to router.

I got 19h 24m on battery and 1h 41m on screen. Does that consider good?

Hi all Sifus here, if i flash in kernel, once google has the lastest update like 4.2.2, can we just update it like normal or need to flash roms?

need to flash... the hard way will be relock bootloader and flash the stock img
but i can tell you
last year, during google io when they intro JB
that afternoon, the dump file was created and the rom was rooted. i was running JB on Gnex that evening when they intro JB in midnite (msia time)
all you have to do is to flash the rom and enjoice

correct me if im wrong. if we r using stock ROM but rooted & unlocked, we neeed to unroot back & lock back right ?

Nexus is very easy. Even the manual cmd way is just fastboot oem unlock,to unlock the bootloader. Try the cmd method if you want to learn more. very easy actually. A good learning experience id say. At least youll understand how the toolkit works.the toolkit is just a GUI

Ya...i know....so after flash..i can use OTA to update right?...this is sound like pretty easy....

if Nexus 4 have OTG, it can even connect to another device and act as a host. with this, you can root the other device from nexus 4! this is is doable on Galaxy Nexus, someone did it before, not many know about this though, i remember watching a video demoing how to do it, by koz i think. this is one of the many reasons to not let go of your Galaxy Nexus
