i don't really bother much about cpu usage, i just use cpu spy or cpu spy plus once in a while to check.

for battery widget, there is a lot out there. battery widget reborn has a nice ui.

I prefer battery monitor widget pro because it give detailed reading like mA and estimated hours etc. (you might want to disable the history logging function, or increase its interval to reduce wakelock by BMW. i disabled the history logging straight away)

both have in-notification drawer estimation and reading.

try the free version of both first

Close your GPS toggle or disable location in your FB app.
FB app is well known for being one of the most battery sucker app.
If you can settle for some third party FB solution then you can try something like Friendcaster.

I am sticking with CM until AOKP stabilises. The unicorn have some great extra options! They have just released mr1 build 2 today. That should be more stable with all the fixes merged in.

I was using it with a GPS holder in my kancil and it heat up to 46 degree c... Got a over heating alarm from one guard power app. Lucky no crack...fuhhhh

battery monitor widget by 3c can set off an alarm when the temperature goes too high, you can set the maximum temperature that'll trigger the alarm.

used trickster bro it is nice to monitor and some kernel setting..

dont fall into the toilet bowl.

anyway, when using 3g, the phone really easy to heat up.

ok i list down all the problems encounter by nexus 4 so far

1. yellow screen. both of yellow tint or some because due to uncure lcd glue thingy (fix for yellow tint, trickster mod  and N4 display control)

2. upside down menu found in all across the phone, due to accelerometer problem

3. cracked back glass

4. battery drain out fast

5. light bleed

6. cant receive file from other device (bluetooth)
what else? now the list really worrying. lucky i dont buy this phone. i suggest this kind of problem to be publish at the front, together with workaround or solutions for it.

I have ZERO problems accepting files from my Note 2
You have to drag down the taskbar and accept incoming file on Nexus 4 so that file can be transfer over

Anyone here using whatsapp & trying to play around with the notification light. Why when I change to eg Green color it is not displaying but Blue is displaying. Does Nexus 4 have limit to the color ?

shatter proof SP? PM me if you do find one in the future!! what SP are you using now? i am using the SGP crystal dual for both sides. it is quite  thick i'd say. so hopefully it'll be good enough with a bumper. 

Is the fit very tight ?
I last bought it for my previous Galaxy Nexus - taking it out was very difficult. That time the case cost nearly RM 90 ( bought directly from Ringke) ;  now is so much cheaper

Need extra care taking out the case. Unnecessary pressure on the back could crack the back glass
