Hardly. I'm from Puchong. They should have been prepared for this. Somehow this reminds me of the xiaomi flash sales fiasco. sweat.gif

I have been trying to buy iphone 6 (grey) since midnight but always stuck at the delivery options (seems to be disabled). A friend of mine bought his with no issues and at that time i was next to him trying my luck as well. The only difference between me and him is, he is switching from another operator while i am upgrading my digi plan (on iP4 data plan, no longer long term contract).

I was wondering if DiGi is prioritising customers from other telco than their own. Can anyone confirm this? Anyone successfully bought iphone 6 through upgrading their exisitng DiGi plan? I'm kinda grasping at straws now. I fthis did not owrk, i guess I'll go for the normal queue next week.

Got my iP6 64GB with free powerbank. Apparently I was the first one who took up this particular model & color. Funny enough, I was queue number 99 tho. I guess this was the least desirable option.

The iphone comes with 8.0.2 out of the box. Anyone who has started using their phone has the no service issue? I got mine last night (queued at paradigm) and they told me it will only take a couple hours to activate my new sim. I'm an existing DiGi customer but i was using the micro-sim card rather than the nano-sim. I guess a call to DiGi would clear things.

so digi service better afterall?
*
Maybe marginally or comparatively better. But its not like they were without faults, the 12am preorder was an epic fail tho. The walk in event at Paradigm is much better. I got there at 10pm, register my details and got my queue number together with estimated time of when my number would be called. Went home after that and came back at 2.30am to collect my phone (The estimated that my number would be called at 2.45am, in reality my number was up by 3am, so not too bad). The handling of the event was quite smooth i suppose from my pov.

The box is seal & attached with a new sim card..
BTW... how to activate with the sim? any idea?? flex.gif

They would hv to do it for you. Mine still yet to be activated. My old sim was deactivated early this morning. I was told that it will only be a couple hours before the sim will be activated. So today, my iP6 is just an expensive ipod touch. sweat.gif

To all expecting iP6 owners, dont forget to retain the service card sticker on the plastic wrapper of your iphone box. You would need that for warranty purposes later. This was what DiGi ppl told me when i went to pick up my phone at Paradigm. I prolly wld have thrown it away if they didnt explicitly told me that.

I changed sim oso. Existing user of DiGi, just chg plan only. Last time use micro sim now have to use nano. They deactivated my old sim abt a couple hours after i bought my phone. Originally, they claim that the new sim wld be activated soon after that. In the end all day got no service from DiGi. I called their CS to ask about my activation status which they require the sim card serial number (long string of numbers on the card). It was activated pretty much immediately after i called the CS. So, I suggest you guys do the same.

Reading this, I decided to call the CS again. Cannot accept la 5 days to activate. Must be the first time I call their CS I got the stupid or laziest guy of the lot.

So second time I call (just a few minutes ago at 11.15pm lol), I was lucky enough to get a friendlier person. She asked for the nanosim serial no, then said she'll proceed to activate it. She also said it wouldn't take not more than 4 hours.

Crossing fingers, hopefully it will work this time.

IOS 8.0.1 & 8.0.2 seems to cause cellular signal failure on some apple devices. To be safe, you should update to IOS 8.1 already since our set comes with 8.0.2 out of the box.

I have been using the new sim since yesterday. It was a half a day delay based on the expected activation time they told me. After i called the DiGi CS later that day, i was able to use it immediately. I'm an existing DiGi customer btw, had to change from micro to nano-sim.

Apple system resource/memory management is pretty good. Not something you want to manually manage. Everything will be snappy at least until u've used it for 3 years, then it'll went downhill from there.

Thanks mate. Ive already mentioned at the starting that I understand that this might have been discussed before and that Im just trying to warn other potentials subscibers.
More over the plan is still here. I almost swapped my Oneplan with ivalue 2 based on their cheating plan but luckily escaped.
*
I've heard that someone mentioned that the same applies to DiGi free weekend calls. If it is, then Maxis is not alone in trying to cheat/mislead their customer.

I just signed up Digi78 for Iphone 6+. The data is so slow that it capped at 0.30 mb whenever I do speed test. Very slow speed.
I have done speedtest together with my friend (digi user as well) note 3, my speed capped at 0.3mb and his speed at 5.7 mb.
Just want to know is it Iphone problem?
*
I'm on the same plan. See my ss for speedtest result.im in bandar utama btw.
