Well, I'm guessing that Digi wants to make a big splash on launching LTE, covering larger population in one fell swoop.My place (more like a kampung actually) previously does not have Digi 3G. After the upgrade schedule for Digi LTE passed, suddenly got 3G. Probably they have the LTE equipment in place already, waiting for some sort of greenlight (internally).
A tie-in LTE launch with a high-profile device is possible. Next iPhone launch perhaps.
