my understanding is that for example, taking the iphone5s 16gb with iDiGi 88,

the device price is Rm1493, monthly commitment would be Rm60(Rm28x24months rebate).

but i don't see they mentioned on whether the rebates need to pay upfront together with the device price hmm.gif

so is it the total ownership cost is 29xx for 2 years? am i right?

as far as the plan is concern, yes.

but i find it very unbelievable, as the current iphone5 needs Rm2012+(Rm60x24months) throughout the contract period.

i heard some mentioned this rate plans only apply to first 100 customers; anyway i doubt about that wink.gif

first 100 customer is for the RM99 i138 5C package,
Others all valid till 5.30am, until stock finish.
This year DIGI monopolise the iphone 5s market,
They have more stock than MAXIS,
but they sell out to "other shop" as outright, which is not so good to reveal here.

i see, thanks for the extra info.

i was previously talking about iphone5s laugh.gif

no wonder i see the price so weird.  laugh.gif

so now the device price is 2165. note that the iphone5 doesn't require any upfront payment, as the rebate comes from the plan itself.

or in other words, it can be said that we pay exactly Rm88 for iDiGi 88 sweat.gif

still have contract from the previous iphone 5 a year back, can i still buy the new ip5s and renew my 2year contract? anyone can do this?
*
you can buy the new iphone5s with the new plan sign up. old contract must go on or penalty for termination.

Actually it is just marketing gimmick, if u think it is rm60 per month then ur phone is rm2500, if u think u paying rn88 then ur phone is rm1828. I bought a 32gb btw.
I remembered last time rm60 per month but not much discount on phone maybe rm200. Now they up the number in the monthly commitment then u see the phone price drop by almost rm1k. RRP for 32gb is rm2779, then they selling at rm1828. So same plan n contract from digi like iphone5 n 4s just they change the number so that the phone seems cheaper

yes. their advert is misleading!

there is no rebates on monthly commitment, in fact we paid upfront for that crap rebates shakehead.gif

Can I know why I still required to pay for RM672 upfront payment with iphone 5s 16GB EPP?
How Digi going to give RM28 rebate per month if my monthly usage not exceed my monthly commitment?
*
the rebate isn't free rebate but u paid upfront for coming rebate.

in other words, no rebate.

like it or not, the monthly commitment for iDiGi 88 is Rm88 smile.gif

pls correct me if i'm wrong
