When I bought my iPhone 5S, They gave new sim card, because previously using micro simcard. I ask them whether it is LTE ready? They told it is lTE ready. So when LTE is here, my simcard can use straight away. smile.gif

QUOTE(Zseusz @ Jan 26 2014, 10:03 PM)
Managed to get LTE while driving around Pandan Indah. Seems like the coverage is pretty damn limited.

No LTE showing on phone means no LTE coverage. Simple. whistling.gif

yup agreed with u. their 4g coverage is indeed  rclxub.gif ...
with digi postpaid for years but digi tend to offer better rate for new n mnp customers, and let existing customers aside like fool. no choice, their strategy make me jump ship
*
Digi LTE coverage compared to Maxis is really bad. I can safely tell you that you will be on 3G most of the time.

Don't you think that this new DiGi ceo marketing strategy is not that aggressive compare to previous?

Some years ago, whenever Maxis launched new plan, DiGi sure beat them within couple days, but now no more...  cry.gif  cry.gif  cry.gif

I think the plans are rather cheap nowadays and are already at the lowest point of profits for Telco's to survive on. Thats why it has been stagnant. On the other hand, you could try UMobile. It is relatively cheaper and mostly doesnt require contract comittment.

I doubt it when see the every quarter earning report of DiGi...

U Mobile is not that cheap, if you exceed the call and sms limit, far more expensive than MVNO even.
*
What I meant was that call charges have dropped drastically during these few years. Consumers have also reduced call time and sms due to usage of whatsapp, viber, line etc. Being so, consumers are the party benefitting from this. rclxms.gif

I MNP from Celcom to Digi, still waiting for the sim to be activated..  then tmorrow can pick the phone..

For new phone launches next time, port out earlier as Telcos are known to delay porting out for obvious reasons.

should be within 24-48hours, if no answer we got the right to cancel the MNP instead. I'm going to terminate Celcom plan and take new plan with Digi..

Believe me they will give you a million excuses like system offline, havent got response from your originating telco and all. whistling.gif
