QUOTE(prosibu @ Aug 27 2013, 10:18 PM) Asaki, may i know how many digi lte subscribers until today? When u see ur iphone carrier version got update then it means its ready for LTE, so far no for me. Already 2 months since they had launched the LTE service, but still no news for iphone, DiGi DiGi u make me CRAZY, i would only like to describe it as "连maxis的车尾灯都看不到" lol, really frustrated with DiGi.And does the numbers satisfy the management? Any places are priority to have lte? Kepong, setapak, old klang road, puchong? |

QUOTE(nanamizuki @ Oct 1 2013, 10:32 AM) yeah actually im fine with digi 3g...since now is H+ edi the speed can reach around 5mbps...so it is more than enough for me for normal usage Lte save more battery, and with i try with maxis prepaid, the phone will not as hot compared to digi 3g, and the bad thing is my area is not under unifi / tmnet coverage, thats why i use 3g quite heavy, normally 1 day charge 3 times zzz |

QUOTE(shawn87 @ Apr 17 2014, 12:19 PM) DiGi 4G not support for iPhone 5 now and never, they only support i5s as CS told me, after i change my sim to LTE. Lol DiGi so lame, other telco like M & C dont need to change to get LTE signal. This is very unlucky for iPhone 5 DiGi users. |

QUOTE(EdwinCodec @ Apr 18 2014, 09:48 AM) 4G you mean. DiGi is using a different band for their LTE at the moment. A band that i5 doesn't support. But in near future? We don't know. Ya, the CS told me iPhone 5 only support band 3 signal LTE while i5s support band 3 & 8, and their LTE network only for i5s due to license issue. Lol so noob DiGi they give up i5 user zzz. At last i got my rm20 refund XP |

QUOTE(EdwinCodec @ Apr 18 2014, 01:08 PM) They actually give u a refund? Well I think in near future, digi will definitely update lte service for their i5 customers Yes, just walk in and tell them my LTE cannot pakai then refund By that time i already seitch to maxis or change to iPhone 6 already lol, problem solved. And DiGi always slow, M & C is about 1 year aheaf for the LTE service. |

QUOTE(prosibu @ Apr 18 2014, 01:35 PM) DiGi is not noob, is government want to protect C and M, giving the approval to C and M 1st and let they absorb the revenue from users 1st before giving the approval to DiGi. Perhaps under table $$$ not enough? God know.Lets see how many years they need to play with this tactic to DiGi Digi still has alot thing to do for their network before expand their LTE coverage too, eg: IPRAN, application and service platform. This is only thing i have that they still "arguing" with vendor where their vendor's incapability to fulfill every thing DiGi wants |

QUOTE(prosibu @ Apr 19 2014, 04:49 PM) using iDiGi 88 plan, still 6 months contract to tie with DiGi, there is no problem with my current plan, just they don't support LTE for i5, really frustrated. last time I choose between DiGi or Maxis plan for i5, and I go wrong with DiGi, DiGi offer RM60 monthly while Maxis offer RM50 for almost same features that time zzz.3G speed just okok only, from 1.X - 4 mbps, setapak area. for my hometown Gerik @ Perak (very ulu), maxi get 3G coverage with impressive speed around 3mbps, DiGi only show "E" and totally cannot pakai, so every time I have to purchase additional Maxis prepaid when I going back home town, really go wrong with DiGi This post has been edited by Hawaiiii: Apr 20 2014, 08:18 PM |

QUOTE(prosibu @ Apr 21 2014, 12:29 AM) Where is ur gerik location? Last time when DiGi dont have LTE, i still manage to whatsapp and surf net using "E", but now totally cannot pakai, for eg at my hometown Gerik, only magage to get "E" signal (as of February 2014), even at Gerik town i also cant get 3g, i doubt the website reliablility.Gerik town ad got digi 3g since july 2013 Just lenggong dun have 3g yet still Too bad u using iphone, if use xperia phone or other specific android phone, u can manual check whether digi lte reach ur area ad or no ... Currently i have found many place at kl and kk has digi lte but i cant login... Same goes to umobile lte... found a place near oug has umobile lte... But of coz, for ur ip5 is special case , this is government decision, and like what they say.... if u dun like, use maxis/celcom BTW im a DiGi loyal customers, been using DiGi for about 10 years This post has been edited by Hawaiiii: Apr 21 2014, 08:40 AM |

QUOTE(Connect2USales @ Apr 23 2014, 11:55 PM) i started with celcom, switched to maxis, and finally digi + umobile as 2nd line (cheapest plan for postpaid at rm29, perfect for 2nd line use). What CS service u refer? Should be there is a problem occured only u go for CS right? And i always experience drop call while driving, this problem never been solved make me really frustrated, but i have no choice. Last time i subscribe DiGi is because the data quota, i wont get charged after exceeding the limit, Maxis will charge u a boom while Celcom will block u to access data, but now the story totally different. As i know maxis offer more competitive pricing, more LTE coverage (10x faster than 3G), for iphone package, DiGi is good in town area, but it will suck if u use at ulu place like my hometown Gerik. I think i will switch to maxis after my contract end. What i find among all and reason i stuck with digi even if my ip5 no LTE. Im based in KK, Sabah. 1. Celcom - broad coverage in Malaysia. Limited LTE in my area, Plans are most expensive among the others. felt its more suitable for ppl who can claim phone bill with company. 2. Maxis - The worst customer service, the worst product knowledge, always tried to mislead customers. (not sure its everywhere, but experienced this in almost all dealers and maxis centre in KK) While it has better LTE coverage in KK, package is quite attractive, but with such bad CS, i rather not use it anymore. Worst experienced during my contract time .. n giving me problem even after i terminated my line.. 3. Digi - Probably the best CS among the rest. But the slow implementation of LTE is really making them looks bad. And with the launching of the new packages, i find its more expensive than before. Luckily I'm still on the old plan. 4. uMobile - worse coverage even for 3G. but anyway, since its cheap, just use it for 2nd line.. This post has been edited by Hawaiiii: Apr 24 2014, 08:56 AM |
