yeah, IMO walk in is the best.. we can ask the operator/person in charge directly regarding our plan/phone..
the moment I walked in, all color for iphone 6 16gb still available, average 15 units each color.. I took gold 1..
it took me to travel around 70km to the digi store.. I dont want to come back just to get iphone 6 64gb..

erm.. somehow in my humble opinion, no offence.. they involved penalty fee most probably because you switch from an on-going contract plan to another new contract plan, ie idigi88 to idigi78. actually they have stated clearly regarding this.

really my humble opinion, i guess, yes i guess, they would not waive for you the penalty fee even if you purchase by walk in since this has violated the contract terms.

i guess the point which you can use to complain, which i assume to be like that, maybe is the online ordering system did not alert you regarding your on-going contract plan during your process of purchase. they should alert you when they found you still bond to an existing contract plan.

i guess his one was the old/previous iphone plan. they do have idigi88 last time.

Before I pre-ordered the Iphone 6 I have called to Digi CS. They confirmed me that no penalty will be charged on me as my contract will be expired less than 2 months. I think you should call to Digi CS to clarify about this case and ask them to waive for you.

let put aside about others, there must be something happened with your case..
did Digi mention that you will be charged penalty? if yes, did u agree with the charge?
if u did agree, then Digi might won't be able to waive your penalty..
else, if u got no idea why r u charged, then u can get the answer from CS or go directly to Digi Centre/Store..
