I would love to, even though my wife isn't against the idea of me buying "expensive" sets once in a blue moon.
But i'll try not to step on the border line tongue.gif

But i think Passenger train is more value for money and bang for the buck since it comes with motor and tracks.

Horizon express is more expensive and its just the train itself... nice though.
*
i vote for passenger train because of the playability - with motor n tracks biggrin.gif

QUOTE(daydreaming @ Feb 27 2013, 08:10 AM)
get the old set first in case it's going to be retired soon. wink.gif later the price shoot up gila gila again. horizon is very new. so u can always get it next year tongue.gif
*
agree! its a new set indeed..so can still wait tongue.gif

well...u wanna know about penang scene?

we got 2 aeon here, 1 at island, 1 at mainland
island = only received Chima set (guess kl ppl dont want, then send to penang?), the rest all leftover from last year(mostly duplo set)
mainland = received 0 (zero, u read it right) 2013 set

no creator set, no city set, nothing at all....

Penang got 3 TRU, 2 of them only replenish some older 2012 set (maybe leftover from other store in malaysia? cos the box is a bit worn)

I think AEON got more stocks compared to TRU. I visited Queensbay yesterday and I saw some SW planet sets are available. Of coz Chima sets are there too. 1 or 2 sets from racer theme and i think most of the stocks are 2012 stocks. Gurney plaza Parkson only got outdated Hero factory... I don't think there gonna be new stock soon. Lego stock in Penang is more limited compared to KL. With no doubt, i think more and more ppl are prefer importing from online store rather than waiting to get outdated + expensive stocks from retailed stores.

don think LEGO Exclusive items can be that much "affordable" tongue.gif tongue.gif
after all, if they bring in........they will be the only retail shop selling (since AEON, ISETAN, METRO, PARKSON, TRU all don have exclusive stff).
