Let’s see, this is my second purchase from this seller, this time got over 900 parts (most parts for MOC, some minifig n stuff, base plates), seller offer to split it into 3 parcel (to help me to save on shipping).

So far, I think this is the best seller I have dealt with in BL. Not only is he got excellent communication, fast reply and helpful (kind of like a friend to me now), he also help me to identify/suggest alternative parts that I might need.

Pretty awesome experience when compare with other BL seller

He is now having a deal on the shipping charges, PM me if you need the discount/code.

Interested as well. Mind to pm me his BL link? Thank you.

Hi everyone. Actually i am also a newbie in lego collector. I started to collect them after the launch of the shell ferrari lego sets recently. I has been following this thread for a period of time. I did post several posts in this thread.
Owning lego sets was a dream when i was kid but the dream never come true to 2day (20+ nw). Glad to know dat in such modern day now, while almost everyone, even including very young kid, is holding smartphone and tablet, play games, online, there is still a group of ppl (not sure u guys r young or old) who r very interested n passionate wif the lego sets. Before this, i thought lego is an out-dated kid play toy, until i found this thread, then only i realized dat. Nop, this is a trend even though the publicity and promotion of lego is not as hot as las time, but it still caught many ppl attention.
Happy to join u guys in lego collection. Thank god there r several lego importers in this thread and sell lego cheaper compare to retail shop.
Hopefully it is not too late to start lego collection nw.
Happy lego-ing!! =)

better late than never  rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif  just learn to control ur budget and also the temptations tongue.gif

Ya, controlling budget and temptation r the most important steps in lego collection. But i think the lego price is getting cheaper due to many lego importers in this forum, can save a lot of money compared to buying from the retailed shops.

Welcome. And it's better late than never to start collecting!

I'm 33 going on 34, married and still buy toys tongue.gif

I guess I was kinda lucky and spoilt when I was a kid as my parents got most of the toys I wanted.

But now that I'm earning my own money and have own spending ability I bought certain reissues of toys that I uaed to own.

I remember my dad getting me the Hasbro Optimus Prime (G1) for RM 89.90 back in the day. I treasured it like gold until my mum let her tuition students play with it and totally destroyed it. A MIB G1 would cost RM 500 - 600.

Lucky Takara Tomy reissued it a couple of years back and I bought it again but think it was around RM 200.

Woh. I see. I think you will also poison your next generations with lego. Haha

encouraged by bro kaneshiro's work on batman's tumbler couple of weeks back, decided to try building one for myself as well  biggrin.gif

ordered bricks from 3 different sellers in BL, 2 of them from europe.

the tumbler looks real cool, but i was kinda disappointed because the cockpit can't really fit a minifig that sits upright. either the fig's arm is blocked by the tumbler's a pillar, or the hatch can't fully close without the fig seated in a 45 degrees position.

anyway, it's still a cheaper way to have the tumbler, which is one of my favorite sci-fi vehicles  thumbup.gif

experience that i think is worth sharing: the hardest part to get is actually the black color windscreen. it is not included in too many sets, costs a lot in BL, and lego customer service don't have that particular part in stock for replacement. might consider painting that 3 pieces black someday..  smile.gif

This tumbler is very nice. Izzit the one dat from set 7888 which not available in the shop anymore? U guys get the instruction manual n build ursef?

Ya, few wks ago, i went to Gurney plaza TRU and i saw they were selling S8 but juz couple of packs left. Hopefully it will arrive soon. But i thought most of the minifigs collectors in this forum already completed their S9 frm 3rd party... Lolz...

Aiuks, I don't know you are from Penang. I thought a lot of stock being sapu by LLM. ALJ is always prioritizing the big company first, last time was TRU, this time was LLM. WTF. . .
*
Ya, I am from Penang. I told you last time, we can COD if i wish to purchase from you. Still remember? Haha. Oh I see. Then I think have to wait couple of months in order to get the stock. But I think for those who interested in collecting whole set, buying from 3rd party is cheaper than "picit" and buy them 1 by 1 from the TRU or other store. Am I right?
