That's right. Huawei only offers contract role in Malaysia.There will be two types of employment:
1. Direct Hire (under Huawei)
2. Outsource (under Kelly Service / iForte)
Both direct hire and outsourced are contracted. Afaik there's no "permanent role".
The contract will be 1 year / 2 years / so on, depends on the role and position's level. Normally if you did not do anything wrong, they will renew the contract everytime when it expired.
