i found out that, eventhough the battery icon on your ipad mini shows 'not charging'...it's charging instead..i have compared the battery status before connecting the cable to my laptop..then after unplugged again..the battery status seems going up..maybe it's just a driver error

*i'm using Windows 8 on my laptop, maybe this is the cause?
