hi guys, is there any software that can overcome the above matter?
everytime when i plugin my ipad to my desktop USB
it will show 'not charging'
Ipad Mini shows not charging, when i plug in to my Desktop USB

iPad won't charge if you plug into desktops or laptops. Only wall charger and iMac. Not sure about MacBooks.

Default power for USB is 500mah. Not enough for charging.
MacBook Pro is design with 1000mah. So no problem charging iPad mini. Certain desktop mobo also got this feature. Some need driver to activate. What's is ur motherboard model? |

Maybe your USB port not enough power. But even if you leave it for a while, it will charge it, even it say it's not charging.

What my friend me was ipad can be charge with laptop pc but it doesnt show because the charging power very low. Try to use wall charge all the time, it is good if u can do critical charge each a month to protect battery life.

i found out that, eventhough the battery icon on your ipad mini shows 'not charging'...it's charging instead..i have compared the battery status before connecting the cable to my laptop..then after unplugged again..the battery status seems going up..maybe it's just a driver error
*i'm using Windows 8 on my laptop, maybe this is the cause? |

you try to charge when u conecting with laptop...but it really slowly to full charge...can call for wararanty...

it shows charging now and the performance is not bad too u guys can giv it a try as well |
