does earning more have any relation to your happiness ?
say a single, within 20s guy 10k per month
vs
another guy, same age same everything except 5k per month
vs
another crone with 15k per month
is there any huge different in term of happiness ?
put the branded materialism issues aside, like guy who drive camry is happier than who drive vious.
what I see the saturated earning is 8 to 10k ...more than that = more than enough, which means the happiness is not directly proportional
opinion please. or motivation please

Can't say if money directly related to happiness I earn enough to support all my expenses and save some aside. Don't know if more money would make me much happier

lol
i am not discussing blown up frog/racist ...at 1st look i think that guy got something on indian
and just want to appear as rich guy ..but who doesnt want to appear rich ? unless everyone knew u are rich lol
i am more interest in lifestyle vs happiness thing ..
lifestyle isnt about the more expensive the better.
just like eating rm 3 nasi lemak on roadside vs rm 30 in air cond restaurant
in the end, the satisfaction isnt directly proportional eating in air cond restaurant isnt much different eating on roadside

not having to worry about money is very nice.
i'm also easily satisfied, a new high end pc every 2 years, plenty of gadgets in between and a few books purchases for my programmer endeavour and i'm a happy man. that means even after settling my monthly responsibilities (homes/cars instalments, duit kasi papamama, feeding my walking vagina and her beauty habits, bills, etc) and i still have plenty. not a car or bike person too, that kinda lets me save alot.
if i'm ever pinched for money (family masuk hospital, emergency, etc) i can dig into my reserves and won't have to beg friends and family for anything.
if you're the kind to living it up i guess rm10-20k isn't that much. imagine all the people you have to please on facebook by taking pictures of yourself visiting european countries every 2 months.

QUOTE(rjb123 @ Jan 13 2013, 04:08 AM) I work from home, so having a car for me isn't that important my cousin used to have arguments with her then boyfriend about not having a car/driving license. "if your kids are sick next time what are you going to do? hope the taxi guy come quick enough to fetch your kids in the middle of the night before their brains are fried by high fever?"
