Your question is very broad. Can you narrow your question with a more specific sub-questions? What course are you interested with?

Huh, CurtinMiri expensive(yes I admit it's above average)? I went to an education fair and this sales guy tell me it's about 20000 per annum. Compared to MMU about 15000 per annum.

MMU is local while Curtin quite global so prospects would be better i think.

Let's compare it's engineering course... how does both of them fare in it.

Im one of the MMU students here in Lyn.Net. To me its a good uni with multi cultural people here and among the best IPTS around. Most of the peoples from all over the globe are here including African, Arabic countries, Indonesian, India, China, Vietnam and few others that i cant recalled. What do u plan to study actually? From there we can help bit by bit.

well, i don't know whether MMU is recognized internationally or not. But we do have some research relationship/collaboration with few companies/institution, namely MIT, Microsoft, Intel, Cisco, NTT, Alcatel, Sun Microsystem, Motorola, Nokia...

with these namelist, i'm sure there's something there.

from http://www.mmu.edu.my/v4/main/main_nosubme...du.my/accredit/

QUOTE
For Professional Programmes like Engineering and Accountancy, MMU also seeks recognition from the respective professional bodies. The relevant professional bodies are as follows:

i) Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM)
ii) Malaysian Association of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA)

Recognition by these Professional Bodies is necessary to enable graduates from the programmes to gain professional recognition. Graduates in possession of an unrecognised degree can not be registered with these Professional Bodies.

MMU has also gained recognition from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), UK in addition to the MICPA recognition.

For BEng(Hons) Electronics majoring in Bioinstrumentation, you'll be studying Biology related subjects sich as Biology, Fisiology and etc. It's a course that has multi-disciplinary; Biology, Electronics and a little of Chemistry. Your job prospect will be in the medical system line; those hospital electronic gadgets such as ECG, EEG, MRI and etc.

If you're entering with SPM, you need to go through one year foundation called Alpha Bioinstrumentation which is slightly different from Alpha Engineering. You may not be able to change to other electronics courses during your Beta Year (First Year).

Take note that BEng(Hons) Electronics majoring in Bioinstrumentation is an approved course by MOHE and it hasn't been accreditated by LAN and IEM; so don't ask if it's recognized.

There's no chemical engineering related courses in MMU. Sorry for that.

SPM result should be sufficient.

No need to write any letter.

Happy waiting and good luck for your admission.

gsdfan, fill in the form and submit back to them.
And I don't think you need the SPM result when submit this application form.
You will need to submit it during your registration itself with all the relevant papers included with another envelope(an envelope will be sent by MMU telling you have successfully accepted, and all the details of all the relevant stuff that they need will be told, all inside this envelope) ,if you're approved for the course.

I have problems in choosing which course to go for. Can I state more than one option in the course selection section of the form because I'm afraid being rejected?

My SPM result is- BM 2,bi1,math1,admath6,bio3,fizik2,chem4,est1,sej4,moral?
