QUOTE(gsdfan @ Mar 23 2006, 06:04 PM) I've got the MMU application form for june intake.. what do I have to include besides SPM results? Do I have to write an application letter or what? Thanks in advance. QUOTE(David83 @ Mar 23 2006, 07:12 PM) SPM result should be sufficient. No need to write any letter. Happy waiting and good luck for your admission. gsdfan, fill in the form and submit back to them. And I don't think you need the SPM result when submit this application form. You will need to submit it during your registration itself with all the relevant papers included with another envelope(an envelope will be sent by MMU telling you have successfully accepted, and all the details of all the relevant stuff that they need will be told, all inside this envelope) ,if you're approved for the course.

QUOTE(gsdfan @ Mar 23 2006, 07:34 PM) I have problems in choosing which course to go for. Can I state more than one option in the course selection section of the form because I'm afraid being rejected? My SPM result is- BM 2,bi1,math1,admath6,bio3,fizik2,chem4,est1,sej4,moral? I believe you have 3 choices for you to choose for your degree,if I not mistaken. You can choose, and they will select the best out of it. It is advisable you put your first choice as number one, ranked accordingly. I don't see you will face any problem though. Your result are quite good, infact better than mine

QUOTE(gsdfan @ Mar 23 2006, 08:50 PM) Thanks, for informing.. another thing do you know the criteria for being selected. My cocurriculum are not so good just peringkat sekolah. Do you think I'm qualified to take engineering course? And I heard robotics course has not been approved yet. wait gsdfan. I just realise something. You're applying into degree using SPM result? You need to take a foundation if you're using SPM result. After that you just can proceeed. IF you want to enter degree, you could use through foundation ticket, diploma, or stpm. A SPM won't entitled you to a straight degree. Btw, fruitie, if he mean approved by LAN, yes, it is not approved. As well, you can head up to this link to view all the LAN approved course in MMU. http://www.mmu.edu.my/accredit/accredited_courses.htmlYou could go here to check all the approved stuff here, either LAN,MOHE,JPA.. http://www.mmu.edu.my/accredit/#b1This post has been edited by stevanistelrooy: Mar 23 2006, 09:09 PM

QUOTE(chinym33 @ Mar 24 2006, 12:26 AM) just say something for MMU, this morning I went to KLCC convention to help out in IEE Faraday Lecture which is organised by IEE UK. when there was a free time, I have a chance to chat with a IEE(FYI,IEE stand for Institution of Electrical Engineer,it's an organisation based in the UK)representative, her name is Mrs. Dorrie Giles came all the way from UK, and when I told her I am MMU student, she said MMU is a quite reputable university in UK...this is what I got from her, believe it or not it's ur choice... well, just to hint you something MMU also could be Manchester Metropolitan University Google it and you can see MMU I guess, her interpretation of MMU is the above I mentioned. If you told her Multimedia University, then that might be a different story This post has been edited by stevanistelrooy: Mar 24 2006, 12:43 AM
