Hi people,

I'll go straight to the point. I have man boobs and I want to remove them. It's quite embarrassing sometimes and always kena perli by my gf, say I got A cup boobs cry.gif
Also I have no confidence in removing my shirt (eg, beaches, water parks), feel very ashamed. icon_question.gif icon_question.gif

I notice they have developed back then when I was 12 years old. I suddenly got a bit overweight. Through the years of highschool though, I started losing weight as I was quite active in school. Now I'm 19 but the they are still there even though I look like I have a skinny figure when I put my clothes on.

I'm 175+cm tall and almost 70kg. For about two months now, I have been going jogging almost every morning and also doing physical exercises like pushups in sets and increasing them from time to time. For the past few weeks too, I have been going to the gym to work out.

I have also come to know of those supplements like mass gainer and fat burner. I feel like I want to gain a little bit of mass so I can shape my body through the workout, but I also want to remove the fat from my breasts. I'm not sure if I should be even be taking any of those.

My main concern is removing my so called A cup boobs now. It's been around for far too long. How can I do this? Any food that I need to cut down or diets that I have to follow/supplements to take?

Please recommend as I have very less experience in this kind of stuff rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

Thank you very much smile.gif

What's your body fat. Sometimes, even with super low body fat, man boobs will still be there. Hormonal imbalance. Only way is surgery.

175+ at 70 is quite alright. I think it's either what kubuk suggest, which is hormonal imbalance, or that your fat just like to stay there.

Try a little chest workout as well, maybe you can shape them to become manly. tongue.gif Despite that emoticon I display, that was actually a real suggestion. laugh.gif Lose excess body fat while you're at it, if you have any.

Is that possible? Coz that is fat, can really shape them?
Any recommended chest workouts?
Is it better to do more of the running and jogging or more of those workouts? As far as I know, targeted fat removal doesn't work. sad.gif

Yeah, you can't actually target fat. smile.gif
I don't mean shape the fat, shape the muscle underneath it.
As long as you eat the wrong amount and the wrong nutrition you won't lose the fat. Find your right diet yourself, it's different from person to person.
If you can go to the gym there are various equipments for chest workouts.

But if you're at home and have little equipment, you can do chest dips, wide arm pushups, dumbbell fly (need dumbbells), and pseudo planche pushups. I suggest a balance of cardio and resistance training. Resistance training and cardio could work together for maximal fat loss and strength gains, and promotes good stamina and cardio health.

Go to a physician for more accurate measurements of BF%.

EDIT: Wait, I didn't realize you posted a picture. It's not that bad. That can definitely be fixed. I see you also have a little belly fat. It's normal to have fat concentrated on parts of the torso and little everywhere else. biggrin.gif Your upper pecs need more work.

You main concern should be on diet, coz as far as concern which I read from your statement, u do jogging every morning n do some push ups etc, but do you actually know how much exercise is how much, how much diet is how much?

Man boobs is coz by excess fat, everybody knows, and to remove it means to remove total bodyfat around your body, which means total body workout, which means not only push ups but squats for legs, pull ups for backs etc..

I suggest the first thing you do is that if everyday you are consuming sugary drinks such as teh ais, teh o ais, sirap etc, try to reduce that to only 1 serving per day, coz the main culprit of excess calories which develops fat comes from sugary drinks, which most of us took almost everyday..

Then, try exploring some total bodyweight exercise which focuses on overall body parts.. I suggest squats, pull ups and push ups..make some variations towards the exercise once it becomes easy for you, why? this is coz your body adapts easily towards your routine, and that will slow down your fat loss progress, therefore you either need to squat/ pull up/ push up with more weights/ more repetitions/ more intensity.. you might want to do sets of 3-4 of 8-12 reps, depending on your capability..google more on this please..

Once, i repeat, ONCE, your bodyfat level goes down, you'll start seeing changes especially around the target body parts areas.. as a result of your diet n bodyweight exercise, you'll see some changes, though not much for first few weeks, but try varying more n more exercise n diet smartly, eventually it will not be there anymore without you noticing.

A lot of reps doesn't mean big chest.. Maybe you're duin 15 reps++ etc.. there's a lot of factor going around it..dun only blame cardio..i got 20% bodyfat and i can still see my chest bulging out across my upper body.. smile.gif

Just sharing my personal record flat bench press, 94kg for 6 -8 reps, maxing at 110kg.. not that great but sometime to be proud of considering i can only do 40kg x 10 reps 4 years before.. smile.gif

Uhuh..you mean that your body fat is too high that that 100kg bench for 3 reps cause it to grow bigger? not 10kg maybe 50-60kg for 15-20 reps for sets?

Thanks for the tips, lots of valuable info there smile.gif
As for the sugary drinks, I don't usually consume that much. Even in the morning I don't take all those milo, teh ais etc2. After jogging most of the time breakfast is 2 half boiled eggs and a few slices of bread + water only.

But then I admit, I'm always on the lookout for snacks in between meals like biscuits, and stuff like that around the house. Then for breakfast and dinner, just a small portion of rice, with some vege and a little bit of meat. My meals are not huge in serving at all. But sometimes I tend to get hungry at night (10, 11+) then I on food hunt again. Most of the time very hungry really and at that time, what got just burger shops and mamak stalls around, so you know lah sad.gif

I'll have to stop this habit >.<

Anyway, is it okay for me to consume eggs often? Because I kinda take it almost everyday. If not half boiled egg, will be fried egg with bread etc2. Sometimes one day can reach 4 eggs.

As for the pushups, actually I've been following this ebook "7 weeks to 100 pushups" which starts with low reps then increases gradually in reps and also sets. So I'll stick to that for the pushups. For the other workouts, I'll have to do more research on that.

Thanks for the tips! thumbup.gif

I think you're diet is ok, just that you need extra time for your body to adapt and adjust..let it go for few more weeks and see.. always keep track by measuring your waist at least everyday..it's a good indicator for fat loss..

just make sure not to consume too much eggs as eggs contain high cholesterol.. you might suffer high cholesterol later..

try to build some serious muscle as now you're not having enough muscles yet.. you mentioned you just started gym for few weeks ago so you definitely need more time in the gym.. at least for a couple of months..but make sure you maintained constant diet n exercising.. should be no problem.. smile.gif

Okay I'll try my best. Another thing that concerns me is I will be going to US to study in March. So the whole routine might get disrupted for a few weeks during the transition. After that I hope there I got time to continue working out and maintaining diet, also have to adapt to the food there also sad.gif

just looking at the frontal pics it looked like real gyno. the rounded shape underneath and the fat from the side. try going for a cut but you'll need surgery to really do away with it. rm4-6k procedure.

I don't mean to discourage you but for cases like hormonal imbalance (gynecomastia) it's almost impossible to cut and have your boobs removed. For example, steroid users. They can't remove their b**** tits unless they go for surgery no matter how low their fat percentage it. Sometimes it's best if you consult a professional.

It probably took him years to be happy with himself. It probably started looking good in a few months.

There is a reason we say it is a marathon not a race.

In any case, your man boobs are not that noticeable lah. So you have a tendency to store more fat deposits there than your friends *shrugs* No big deal. Just lift heavy and consistently and the muscle will give your chest a more manly attractive shape.

How to remove them? keep working hard.. theres no such thing that u can target ur fat loss on which body part u want.. it all comes down to genetic.. some people will burn fat starting from their stomach n some of them may be started at face..

jogging? i prefer to do cardio machine like step master n etc.... increase ur resistance n try to hit the calories at least 100 in 10-12 minutes... when i 1st started gym, i used to run on treadmill but i didn't see a gud result on it... btw, u need to know ur body coz all of us r diff...

supplements? avoid them.... mass gainer is for the people who r hard gainers.... I'm a person who can easily gain weight so i dun need that thing... i only take pre-workout, creatine mono n dymatize protein shake only if necessary... thats all... in my opinion, try not to consume any of them in the 1st 4-5 months.. just drink coffee without sugar as ur pre workout.... the result comes from ur hard work in the gym n ur diet at home... the supplements do nothing if u r not doing those 2 correctly... theres no magic pill exist in this world to get u ripped n muscular.. if it does, u won't be able to see any fat people walking around nemore.... ur hard work will give u the result not the supplements... this is the truth n concept u need to know 1st... or else u will be depending so much on supp....

advice? plz do some researches about nutritions, metabolism, correcting ur form, work out routine n etc... understand what is macro and micro nutrition, tracking calories n etc... since i started to know about them i m not afraid to eat n i started to see an outstanding improvement on my body.... Diet and exercise offer equally important... these 2 can't be separated if u wanna achieve the body u want.... the basic is this, the more muscles u have, the more ur body will burn n the more u can eat... i looooovveeee to eat n I'm happy with my life rite now.. haha... gud luck!

You have boobs because your testorone level is low. To increase testorone level do high intensity workouts and get a good massage at your testicles.

hey TS...nothing to be ashame of...i'm worst than you...
i got 3 ideas for you...
1st,build muscle on your chest
2nd,lost more weight
3rd,you can try search for Hormone, forgot what it is exact called,it's something that only female had in their body which can grow boobs...
there's something can anti them...but you need to do a proper research 1st...cuz things can get dangerous...

but i still recommend you just build muscle on your chest...
your type of body is very easy to build muscle...

As far as I know....these can only remove with surgery . Dont waste time on waiting.

That is not FAT....That is BREAST TISSUE.....small piece of tissue underneath yo nipples.

How to test???? Flex yo chest muscle n u can feel a piece of tissue there. If its FAT....is the LAYER of fat on yo chest. Its different...hop u know wat I mean.....

GH should have the surgery..

Do the surgery when u r young bfor its too late.

Man boobs could be due to fat stored in your chest area or due to real breast tissue developed. If it is fat, then don't go for surgery, as there are other ways to deal with it. If it is due to real breast tissue being developed, surgery is the only way. Majority of the man boobs is due fat storage.

Just fyi, I do have man boobs as well, which I suspect could be real breast tissues under the skin. I could be wrong. So, I'm going to verify it by reducing my body fat. I started to have tummy around the same time I noticed man boob. So, if I could reduce my body fat until my tummy is flat (if possible 6-pack biggrin.gif) and if I still have man boobs, then only I'll go for surgery.
Until then, I'll on hold the idea of removing it surgically.

(Update: I just realized I posted this on wrong thread. This meant for another man boob thread. Since your man boob is so small, you can cover up by building some chest muscle)

I feel you bro, if the swell of those boobs from the nipple to the base of the boobs (I suck in biology) exceeds 4cm then you've got Gynecomastia...all you can hope for is chest exercises to turn em into muscles..I forgot whether its fat or excess skin on the chest

Hi all, just thought of sharing on possibility of how I got my man boobs. (NOTE: I'm not 100% sure it's a breast tissue. Currently on mission to reduce my body fat ratio to find out)

Long long time ago, more than 10 years ago, I just started my uni life. I stayed in the hostel. Since, I'm being independent, I bought myself a plastic kettle towards end of 1st year. During my second year, I went through terrible stress due to some unnecessary issue. And got a girlfriend at the end of 2nd year.

You all would be asking, why am I telling all this stuff. What does it have to do with man-boobs?

1. Almost all plastic contains BPA, except the one specifically labelled as non-BPA. So, plastic boiler could release more BPA into the boiled water. BPA is a chemical which mimics female hormone called estrogen. This estrogen is what causes female to get boobs. So, since almost everybody is using plastic bottles, why not every man have man-boob? It could be possible that our body able to tolerate with the increase up to certain level, including automatically reducing it. It may need something to trigger for a man to get boobs. Btw, there are even study made in China where it is said to cause erectile dysfunction.

2. Imagine your body already have a lot estrogen mimicking chemical going around, and at that time you go through extreme stress or depression. That sound's like a hormonal disruption on the way. So, it's possible that it could have trigger it.

3. Now why the girlfriend is involved in getting my man-boobs. Well, as it's my first ever time having a girlfriend, my testosterone level could have been hiked up as I tend to get boner quite often whenever she's around. My body could have been preparing to mate (natural instinct). But, having very high level of testosterone in your body could have released higher than usual aromatase. What is aromatase? Aromatase is an enzyme which converts excessive testosterone to estrogen. So, with BPA already in the body with the addition of this estrogen, all hell broke loose. Note that, that's why steroid user will take aromatase inhibitors to prevent man boobs. As steroids mimics testosterone.

Btw, my man-boob only started to emerge after my gf back then sucked my nipple. I know, it's weird. It might be just a coincidence. Or perhaps, some research should be done. tongue.gif

DISCLAIMER: These are just speculation. There's no proof on how I actually got my man-boob. It could be the combination of all 3 (errr..4), or maybe totally different reason.

Another thing, if you already have man-boob due to breast tissue developed underneath your skin, there's no way to reduce it except for surgery. But, by avoiding BPA, having healty mind and body, you could prevent it from getting worse. Just my 2 sen.

Hi there, I have the same problem as you. Was fat when I was a kid, but as I grow older, I started to slim down but my moobs remain.
One thing you can check is press the skin area right outside your nipples. If it is hard and feel like glands, then those are breast glands and can only be removed by surgery. if it's soft, it's probably fat tissue and can be remove by exercise.

my condition is like this.. i am 23 this year, and i went to a cosmetic clinic to have it checked out. turns out i have a lot of fat and some breast tissue as well.
did my gynecomastia last friday, now waiting for recovery. if you are interested, i can give you more details smile.gif

Hello,

Man Boobs probably causing by your genetic or You have more female hormone in your body. Maybe you try to build large Chest , It can make your chest more solid. I not going to suggest you to take fat burner. Its quite unhealthy. Doing some Healthy diet would help , with some protein supplement.

if its due to fat, lose the fat. Theres no spot reduction, meaning u cant just lose your chest fat, but you will burn your total body fat. Put your body in a caloric deficit state and do cardio preferably HIIT. Checkout this youtube video

have the same problem. not all man boobs are fat tissue. in some cases, it's breast tissue and can only be removed by surgery.

I've done my surgery almost 3 months ago.. can check out my before/after pics in another post.
