CE announce already? I didnt get the CE for Witcher 2 but the regular edition for Witcher 2 last time was quite awesome already. And the CE for Witcher 2 also comes with a broken statue because of shipping mishandling last time so you might have been save from heartbroken by missing that one.

CE for TW3 not annouced, yet. but im sure there will be 1. and sounds like not buying tw2 is a blessing for me afterall

Just so you know the Dev did replace the broken ones I think (kudos to them  ). But the hassle of doing such a thing is troublesome for a lazy person like me so I was quite lucky as well not getting the CE at the time 

They did change them but many reported that the replacements have defects and broken parts too

Witcher 3 has grown far bigger and became a successful franchise. Not sure if it will be more casualized. Honestly for me, Witcher 1 is a better RPG experience than Witcher 2 for me.

in terms of RPG, i agree with you. But battle in Witcher 2 is juz less strategy or more quick combat
Both had its own fun and strength. Open world of Witcher 3 really excite me. Can't get enough from W2 due to being script road instead

It's kinda hard for me to pick the one that gave me a better RPG experience. TW2 is more immersive, characters and companions got more interesting, combat is definitely better.

I guess the journey in TW1 trumps its sequel but TW2's aint bad at all, just much shorter

Hey, following our recent announcement of the distribution deals of The Witcher 3 in North America and Europe, there have been some concerns regarding DRM and previous legal issues with The Witcher 2. We’ve seen a lot of comments in various places around the web and we would like to join in on the conversation.

I’d like to say it loud and clear: The PC version of The Witcher 3 will have absolutely no DRM from day 0. Zero. Zip. Nada. It doesn’t matter if you choose to buy it on GOG.com and support us directly or buy the game in box format, you’ll still get the 100% DRM-free experience. And this goes for the whole world.

We’ve fiddled with DRM in the past (Oh boy! How young and naïve we were;)) and that’s enough. Lesson learned.

Having said that, I’d like to thank you for your continuous support. You’ve bought six million copies of the Witcher games so far. Whoo-hoo! Let’s celebrate. Here, have some cake!

UPDATE:
It’ll be on Steam; the team isn’t going to exclude that community by any means. Gamers have a choice in where they buy their games, but where CDPR does have control — like GOG.com — there will be absolutely no DRM.

I will preorder watever game they release. Their games so far is pure quality, their attitude towards drm is pure  gold. They deserve my money more than any other company

It's just marketing PR. They said the same with Witcher 2 no DRM and i bought 2 copies ending up with DRM. Only later that they patched it out. Great if they learnt their lesson again.

i bought 1 copy and get a free copy from gmg. and free upgrade to 2.0. i dun care if its just marketing PR, show me another AAA game dev/publisher do the same?
